Helen Martha Dalton, 86, of Long Valley died August 1. Born in Pennsylvania, she was a former West Windsor resident.
Survivors include her sons; Craig, Kevin, Mark, Bob, and Tim; grandchildren Jesse, Justin, Kimberly, Sonya, and Kathleen; and great-grandson Sampson. Donations may be made to Our Lady of the Mountain Church in Long Valley.
Bernice R. Levin, 84, of Delray Beach, Florida, died August 4. Survivors include a daughter, Lori Watson of Plainsboro. Memorial services will be held Sunday, August 24, at 10 a.m. at Congregation Beth Chaim, 329 Village Road East, West Windsor. Rose Ellen McCabe, 88, of West Windsor died August 5. A member of the American Legion Post 1645, she worked at the Office of the Aging, where the lobby was dedicated in her name.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, James P. and Mary, Michael and Jane, and Thomas and Carolyn; grandchildren Jennifer and William Hickox, Maureen and Matthew Vredenburgh, Courtney McCabe, Ashley and Jason McCabe, Shawn McCabe, and Patrick McCabe; great grandchildren Jared and Riley Hickox, Jack, Cullen, and Finn Vredenburgh; brother William McGee; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends Meta O’Donnell and Leona Woodmansee.

Marie S. Burnett, 85, of West Windsor died August 7 at Clare Bridge at Hamilton. Born in McClure, Pennsylvania, Burnett lived in West Windsor for 60 years. She was a proofreader for Peterson’s Guides for close to 30 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Hamilton; her two grandchildren, Sara Marie Hamilton and Kenneth James Hamilton, of Hamilton; a sister, Helen Kurkierewicz of Monrovia, California; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Phil and Maryanne Snook of Orlando, Florida; Alfred and Sheila Snook, and John Dave and Guada Snook, of McClure, Pennsylvania; three sisters-in-law, Faye Snook and Freda Combs of McClure, Pennsylvania, and June Snook of Plainsboro; and many other family and friends.

Robert K. Warden, 88, of West Windsor died August 7 at University Medical Center of Princeton. He was born in Bound Brook. A Navy veteran, he served during World War II.
Warden graduated from Trenton State Teachers College with a degree in vocational education, and a master’s degree in supervision of elementary and secondary education from Rutgers. He taught high school vocational education in Newton and East Orange for six years, worked for McKnight Publishing of Bloomington, Illinois, for five years, and then for McGraw-Hill Publishing in Hightstown and New York City.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Dr. Wei-ling Wu; his sons, Li-kang of West Windsor, and George of Stroudsburg; one daughter, Lisa of Seattle; his sister, Ann Lovejoy of Jacksonville, Florida.
John J. Gager, 72, of Plainsboro died August 7 at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Boston, he was raised in Bozrah and New London. A veteran of the Marine Corps, he was an independent consultant. Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Linda Mumford Gager.
Violet Corrigan Halas, 90, of Danbury, Connecticut, died August 8. Survivors include a granddaughter, Stefanie Rathjen-Kelly and her husband Daniel Kelly of Plainsboro; and great grandchildren, Genevieve and Julianna Kelly.
Roland Ludwig Eckstein, 80, of Middletown died August 12. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Philip Charles; and grandchildren Philip, Kelly, Caroline, and Keira Charles, all of West Windsor. Hugo Mariani, 89, of West Windsor died August 12. Survivors include his wife, Angelica. A mass was held at St. Paul’s Church in Princeton.
