Mary Karwoski, 84, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, died April 21. Survivors include her children, Linda Calvo and husband Antonio of West Windsor. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Geoffrey P. Cleveland, 67, of West Windsor died May 19. Arrangements were by Brenna Funeral Home in Trenton.

Catherine C. Gilroy, 83, of Toms River, died June 2. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James and Denise Gilroy Jr. of West Windsor. Donations may be made to St. Joseph Grade School in Toms River.

Jeffrey Hopkins, 72, of Plainsboro, died June 2. Born in Allegheny, Pennsylvania, he was a veteran of the Army. He worked for Fairless Steel Mill for more than 20 years and was working for South Brunswick Security in Monmouth Junction. Survivors include his wife, Connie Sohl of Plainsboro. Olga Sivo, 88, of Wharton died June 4. Born in New York City, she was a Plainsboro resident until 13 years ago, and was the former owner of Andrew’s Beauty Salon in Trenton. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra H. and John M. Barrett of Wharton; her step-sons and their wives, Anthony and Kathy Sivo, and Ronald Sivo, all of Arlington, Texas; step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and several brother and sisters in law.

Joan M. Baillie, 87, died June 5. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Jeremiah Riley of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to Renew International, 1232 George Street, Plainfield 07062.

Melvin Richard Lehr, 75, of Cranbury died June 8 at the University Medical Center at Plainsboro. Born in Amherst, New York, he was a former Plainsboro resident.

A transportation engineer and planner, he received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Case Institute of Technology. He began as the chief traffic engineer for the city of Cleveland, and then was a principal in Dalton, Dalton and Little, an architecture and engineering firm.

When Lehr moved to New Jersey, he was the director of research and planning at the Department of Transportation and was later the assistant commissioner. Lehr then owned and managed Lehr and Associates, a transportation engineering and planning firm. He sold the firm to Frederick R. Harris, Inc. (now AECOM), where he served as vice president until his retirement.

He was on the board of directors of PlanSmart New Jersey for more than 20 years. He served on several boards including the Cranbury Zoning Board of Adjustment, Cranbury Housing Associates, and the Cranbury Public Library Foundation.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Bilbao Lehr; his daughter and son-in-law, Deborah Lehr and Dhrupad Trivedi of Pleasanton, California; grandchildren, Nishaad and Aria Trivedi, also of Pleasanton, California; and one sister, Carolyn Lehr of Athens, Georgia.

David I. Harris, 74, of Plainsboro died June 10 at his home. Born in Jersey City, he attended Cornell and Syracuse universities and served in the Army. He was an electrical engineer for Sarnoff Corporation in West Windsor.

Survivors include his three daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Clarence Cox, Amy and Brett Hoover, and Jill and Roy Fraticelli; and grandchildren, Cierra, Jared, and Julia. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

Patricia A. McKinney, 90, of Plainsboro died June 10 at home. Born in Trenton, she graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1942 and was a homemaker for most of her life. Survivors include her three daughters, Kathleen A. McKinney, Patricia A. Morrissey, and Ellen M. Leonard; several grandchildren; a sister, Rosemary L. Vocaturo; and a brother, Leo Lydon. Lori L. Grant Kowalsky, 54, a graduate of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School, died June 15, at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown. She worked in the Princeton Regional School District for 23 years.

Survivors include her son, Kyle; her mother, Joan B. Grant and her companion, Charles ‘Buck’ Osborn, of Plainsboro; her brother, George Grant and his wife, Roberta, of Langhorne; her sister, Sally Grant Considine and her husband, Kevin, of Coronado, California; her aunt and uncle, Mary and Mike Jablonski of New Egypt; her aunt, Joan Barksdale of Beacon Falls, Connecticut; and special friends, Gay and Dennis Huber of West Windsor. Shirley Brodsky, 90, of Ewing died June 17. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Karen Brodsky and Donald Leibowitz of West Windsor; and two grandchildren, Mara and Jenna Leibowitz. Catherine E. Martin, 93, of Hamilton died June 18. Born in Plainsboro, she was a graduate of Wilson College and taught English and Latin. She was later an audit account clerk with the state Department of Labor and Industry.

Survivors include her children, Agnes Leonardi, William Martin, Bruce Martin, Judith Wallace, and Shirley Martin; her grandchildren, Debbie, R. Anthony, and Beau; four great-grandchildren; her sisters, Janet Dey, Eleanor Gyopyos, and Della Nemes; and her brother, George Stout.

Mary Alice Pearson, 80, of Tucson, Arizona, died June 18. Survivors include a nephew, Marvin Vickers of Plainsboro.

Adoracion Solis, 67, of Plainsboro died June 20 at the University Medical Center at Plainsboro. Born in the Philippines, she came to the United States 43 years ago, and to Plainsboro in 1992.

A graduate of Centro Escolar University in the Philippines with a bachelor’s degree in medical technology, she was was a medical technologist in St. Peter’s University Hospital’s chemistry department for 18 years.

Survivors include her husband, Ildefonso “Ed” Solis; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vanessa and Jeff Machik, and Rose Marie and Mike MacKenzie; a brother, Serge G. Ceralde; a sister, Cecilia Domingo; three grandchildren, Adrianna, Evan, and Dylan; and several nieces and nephews. Donations may be made to the A.L.S.
