Warren B. Cook, 89, of Manasquan died October 26 in Point Pleasant. Born in Farmingdale and raised on a farm in Howell, he raised his family in West Windsor. He served as chairman of the West Windsor planning board and was a member of the Industrial Development Committee. A veteran of the Army Air Corps, he was discharged as sergeant.

He had a long career in agriculture with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, New Jersey Crop Improvement Association, New Jersey Certified Seed Growers Association, and the Mid-Atlantic Farm Show Corporation. A significant achievement was his leadership of a 1963 delegation of agricultural leaders on a People to People tour of Europe and the Soviet Union to exchange information and improve relations during the Cold War.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Irene Garhart; three children and their spouses, Christine and Angelo Guarino of Point Pleasant, Timothy Cook of Marlboro, and Laurie and John Neyhart of Farmingdale; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service and celebration of his life is scheduled for Saturday, November 24, at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 16 Virginia Avenue, Manasquan. Donations may be made to NJ FFA Foundation, Box 214, Allentown 08501.

Peter R. Tedeschi, 62, of Las Vegas, Nevada, died October 29. He was a former Plainsboro resident. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Tedeschi; two daughters and a son-in-law, Jennifer Tedeschi Wiley and Danielle and Steven Waldie; his mother, Jennie May Tedeschi; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Janice and Vincent Zara Sr. and Donna Wisecup Olivieri; and four grandchildren. Florence Alice Baker Keim, 87, of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, died November 1. Survivors include her children, Raymond Errol Keim of West Windsor and LouAnn Keim-Suraci of Perrineville; and her grandchildren, Daniel F. Suraci and Nicole A. Barraza-Keim. Anna Bowman, 102, of West Windsor died November 5 at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. Born in Trenton, she was a longtime resident of North Brunswick before moving to an assisted living facility in West Windsor. She was a saleswoman with Sosin and Littman jewelers.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Shirley Sherman; her brother, Joseph Levitt, of Los Angeles; granddaughters; and great grandchildren.

Lewis Scheffey, 88, of Monterey, Massachusetts, died November 6. Survivors include his first wife, Caroline (Lynn) Cox of Princeton Junction.

Thomas Cole, 89, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, died November 6. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Matthew Rhodes of Plainsboro; and granddaughter, Jenny Rhodes.

Ellen Marie (Bertsch) Gambatese, 76, of Kendall Park died November 11 at Saint Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Paterson, she grew up in Wayne, and raised her family in West Paterson.

A graduate of Seton Hall University, she taught at St. Phillip’s Elementary School in Clifton before retiring in 1985. Gambatese served as president of the South Brunswick Library Board of Trustees and was chairwoman of the Community Developmental Block Grant, a former member of the board of directors of the Brain Injury Association of New Jersey, and a docent at the New Jersey State House.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Mayor Frank Gambatese of South Brunswick; her son and daughter-in-law, Franc Jr. and Mickey Defranco of West Windsor; and grandchildren Joey, Jaedi, and John Paul Gambatese of West Windsor.

A mass will be held on Friday, November 16, at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine of Canterbury, Henderson Road, Kendall Park. Donations may be made to the American Red Cross or any Hurricane Sandy relief charity.

Ellen Jo Gottesman Wulstein of Toms River died November 11. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Wendy Wulstein of West Windsor; and grandchildren, Michael, Rachel, and Ronnie.

Leslie D. Margiatto, 52, of Lawrenceville died November 12. Survivors include a sister, Virginia Davis of Plainsboro. A Requiem Eucharist will be celebrated Saturday, November 17, at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, Curlis Avenue, Pennington. Visitation will be Friday, November 16, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Road, Pennington.
