William James McCluskey Jr., 77, died January 1 in Palm Springs, California. Active in the Army from 1964 until 1975, he was a major who served two tours in Vietnam and one in South Korea. A graveside service was conducted on January 6 at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California, with full military honors. Ethel Dorothy Matilda McNinch, 92, of West Windsor died January 16 at the University Medical Center at Princeton. Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong resident of Princeton Junction. She retired as a secretary from McGraw Hill in Hightstown. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Donna McNinch; and their two sons, William and Joshua.

Frances Lee-Hwa Yen, a former West Windsor resident, died January 19, in Rockville, Maryland. Edward L. Perrin Sr., 73, of Sea Girt, died January 20 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Born and raised in New York, he lived in Princeton Junction before moving to Sea Girt in 1991. A graduate of Manhattan College, he received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He was a certified public accountant with Price Waterhouse/Coopers, NJ Hospital Association, and BlueCross of Newark.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Rita Sparrow Perrin; his son Edward L. Perrin Jr. of Sea Girt; his daughter and son-in-law Marianne and Chris Weir of Oceanport; his sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Barney Favorito of Oradell; and his two grandsons, Stephen and Joseph Weir. Patricia A. Mahoney, 74, of Plainsboro died January 21 at Merwick Care and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Queens, New York, she graduated from St. John’s University with a bachelor’s degree in education and received an honorary degree in 2008 from St. John’s University in recognition of her longtime philanthropy. She worked for many years as a teacher’s aide in the West Windsor-Plainsboro school system, and taught elementary mathematics at the Lewis School in Princeton.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Michael; one brother and two sisters-in-law, Edward and Kerry McLaughlin of Southampton, New York, and Mary McLaughlin of Sayville, New York; one uncle, Vincent Guarriello, of Rumson; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Eileen Mahoney, Catherine Mahoney and Garrett Kiely, and Nancy Mahoney and Ian van Coller; and five grandchildren. Cynthia J. Potts, 47, of Highland Park, died January 22 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Toledo, Ohio, she was raised in Vineland, and lived in Plainsboro from 1986 to 1988. She co-owned the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home in Highland Park and was an accountant for Franklin Corner Dental Associates in Lawrenceville and Millburn Orthodontics in Millburn.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Gary S. Potts; a daughter, Jessica, and a son, Jason, both at home; her parents, Ronald and Janet Dickerson of Vineland; a sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Mark Franks of Egg Harbor; and her paternal grandmother, Winonia Dickerson of Adrian, Michigan. Virginia Baker Jackman, 70, of Lower Makefield Township, Pennsylvania, died January 25 at St. Mary Medical Center. Born in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, she lived in Princeton Junction for 35 years before moving to Lower Makefield almost three years ago.
A graduate of Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, she was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Junior League of Greater Princeton, and the Bedens Brook Club. She was a marketing administrator with Blessing/White in Skillman.
Survivors include her husband, Patrick D. Jackman; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Heather Jackman, and David and Anna Jackman, all of Lower Makefield; a sister, Rebecca Caraway of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania; and five grandchildren, John, James, Max, Jada, and Ryan.
