Glenna Vreeland Wilcox, 94, of Whiting and of Harvey Cedars, New Jersey died on November 30. She taught English and French in the West Windsor school system after being widowed at the age of 42. Catherine Marie ‘Kay’ Roam, 73, of Plainsboro died December 28 in Houston, Texas. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota , she graduated from University of Minnesota with a degree in chemistry.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Gary Roam; their three sons, Michael, Karl, and Daniel; and five grandchildren. Roam worked as a librarian, editor, grants-writer, flight instructor, and weather forecaster. When aviation became a passion, she became a founding member of the international organization “Women in Aviation,” a search pilot for the Civil Air Patrol, and a member of the women’s pilot club “the 99’s.” Donations may be made to “Women in Aviation.”

Jane Anne Foley, 60, of Piscataway, died January 3 at her residence. Survivors include a sister, Karen Foley of Plainsboro.
Ronald J. Rosenberg, 66, of Plainsboro died January 5. Born in the Bronx, he earned two masters degrees, and worked as a teacher and an administrator for 38 years for the New York City Board of Education. He later worked for the superintendent of Holmdel as director of special services and became an educational consultant for the district.
Survivors include his wife, Teri Rosenberg; sister, Gale Porcelli; daughters, Lori Ruschman and Allison Hefner; sons, Robert Rosenberg, Stephen Hamm, and Dan Rosenberg; and grandchildren, D.J., Andrew, Gabriella, Alexey, Livia, and Michael.

Derrold J. Weisel, 78, of Arcadia, Florida died January 8. Born in Plainsboro, he was an Army veteran, and worked as a lineman with JCP & L in New Jersey. Louise (Cavanna) Mangini, 91, of Keansburg died January 9 at Bayside Manor Assisted Living, Keansburg. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Joseph A. and Geraldine Mangini of West Windsor.
Leonard George Gross, 82, of Bear Creek Assisted Living, West Windsor, died January 9 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Brooklyn, he graduated from City College of New York with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. An Army veteran, he received several awards as an intelligence analyst during the Korean War. He was a securities broker for more than 30 years, most recently with UBS.
