Grant Nelson, 44, of Daytona Beach, Florida, died August 22. He was a graduate of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School, Class of 1983. Survivors include his fiance Sonia and her daughter, Brianna, of Daytona Beach; his mother, Madlyn Nelson of Somerset; three brothers, Gregg of Chester, Glenn of Locust Valley, New York, and Griffin in Rome, Italy; and a sister Greer of Fairfax, Virginia; two sisters-in-law, Oksana and Rahmi; and brother-n-law, Rene van Dorp.

Juan “Chile” Urbina, 59, of Plainsboro died August 26 at home. Born in Chile, he immigrated to the United States in 1971 settling in Plainfield, and lived in Piscataway before moving to Plainsboro three years ago.

Judith “Judie” T. (Falatovich) Muszynski, 59, of Plainsboro died August 26. Born in New Brunswick, she was a longtime resident of Manville and moved to Plainsboro in 2004. She was an administrative assistant with AT&T in Middletown for 26 years,

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law: Suzanne Muszynski of Old Bridge; Rebecca Muszynski and Dustin Brignola of Plainsboro; a sister, Carol Luszcz of Manville; her aunts Anna Vochosky and Barbara Slifka.

Thomas J. Apicella, 95, of West Windsor died August 28.

Elvin Edward Bowers, 86, of West Windsor died August 29 at home. A lifelong area resident, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, where he served with the 3582nd Quartermaster Truck Company “The Red Ball Express.” He was a school bus driver and mail carrier with the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District. Bowers was a member of the Princeton Junction Volunteer Fire Company, the Mercer County Fire Police, VFW Post 9111 of Kendall Park, and American Legion Post 0076.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Sally Ann “Pete” and Roger L. Osgood; his grandson, Randolph Edward Osgood and his wife, Patricia M. Osgood; and his granddaughter, Anna Leigh Osgood and her companion, Michael Arnold.

Mary Primich, 98, of Rockaway died August 29. Survivors include a son, Daniel J. of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 532 Lafayette Road, Sparta 07871.

George Frederick Newman, 78, of West Windsor died August 29. Born in Spring Lake, he served as a radio telegraph operator in the Marines from 1951 through 1954.

A graduate of New Jersey State Police Academy, Newman served at many stations in Troop “C” (Central New Jersey), Troop “D” (NJ Turnpike), and Troop “A” (Southern New Jersey). His many positions during his career included supervising TEAMS unit and transportation officer at Hammonton Headquarters. His last position was station commander in Bridgeton and he retired in 1986 as a lieutenant.

Newman, a lifetime member of Citizens Rifle and Revolver Club of West Windsor, was an active member of the Former Troopers Association and the N.J. State Police-U.S. Marine Organization.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Jean Morris Newman; his son, Timme P. Newman; and granddaughter, Sarah Leonarda Brogle-Newman, all of West Windsor; a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph E. and Marguerite H. Newman of Spring Lake Heights; brother-in-law, Glenn T. Morris of West Palm Beach, Florida; sisters-in-law, Judith E. Morris, Oneonta, New York, and Janet M. and husband Gary Stoneburner, Manassas, Virginia.

Interment will take place on Tuesday, September 28, at 11 a.m. at the Atlantic View Cemetery, Manasquan. Donations may be made to the Former N.J. State Troopers Association, 1675 Whitehorse-Mercerville Road, Suite 103, Hamilton 08619-3824, or the Marines Toys for Tots Foundation, Marine Corps Base, Box 227, Quantico, VA 22134-0227.

M. William Albanese, 79, of Cherry Hill died August 29. Survivors include son and son-in-law Joan and Lou Eccleston of West Windsor; and grandchildren, Krista, Lauren, Drew, and Emma Eccleston. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Autism Speaks.

Arlene E. Barna, 74, of Deptford died August 29 from injuries suffered in a motor vehicle collision in Runnemede. Survivors include grandson Dr. Ryan Barna and his wife Olivia of West Windsor. Donations may be made to the nursing program at Gloucester County College, Tanyard Road, Sewell 08080.

Waltina Crisp Brown, 71, of Mount Vernon, New York, died August 28. Survivors include a brother, Joseph P. Crisp of Plainsboro.

Edward John “Jack” Post, 83, of Kunkletown, Pennsylvania, August 31. A former resident of Pennington from 1952 to 1978, he owned Jack the Barber Shop in Pennington, was on the Pennington police force as a special officer, was a charter member of the Pennington First Aid Squad, a member of Pennington Fire Company, and a dispatcher for the New Jersey State Police. Survivors include a daughter, Darlene Post Scheetz of West Windsor. Donations may be made to the Pennington First Aid Squad or the Pennington Fire Company.

Brett Jared Fenster, 23, died September 5 at his West Windsor home. A graduate of High School South, Class of 2005, he was currently attending Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. During his high schools years he participated in baseball, karate, and soccer.

Survivors include his parents, Charlene Jennings Fenster and Dr. David M. Fenster; his step-mother, Cathy Fenster; step brother, Michael Popescu; step sister, Kira Popescu; paternal grandparents, Esther and Charles Fenster of Rockville Centre, New York; his great-aunt, Mary Agnes Jennings; his uncles and aunts, Steven and Bonnie Fenster, Erin and Jim Lenc, Edward and Tracy Jennings, Timothy and Marla Jennings, Kevin and Robin Jennings, Meaghan and Scott Weed, Brian Jennings, and Sean and Aimee Jennings; and his cousins, Andrew and Joshua Fenster, Shannon and Evan Jennings, Taylor, Phillip, and Georgia Jennings, Conor Parker, Nolan Lenc, Samantha, Dale, and Brandon Weed, and Zachary and Daniel Jennings.

Funeral services were held at Congregation Beth Chaim, with burial at Princeton Cemetery.

William Payton Pellagrino, 48, of Plainsboro died September 5 at home. Born in New Brunswick, he lived in East Brunswick and Jamesburg before moving to Plainsboro last year. Former owner of glass shops, he was a real estate agent with Rollie Davis, East Brunswick.

Survivors include a son, Dylan of Jamesburg; a daughter, Catherine of Jamesburg; his father, William J. Pellagrino of Princeton; a brother, Robert Glynn Pellagrino of Vermont; and two sisters, Vickie Pellagrino of East Brunswick, and Ashley Pellagrino of Barnegat Light. Donations may be made to the family to help fund education funds for his children.

Carl Fullerton Hawver, 96, of Washington, D.C., died September 5. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Dennis A. Hawver and Judy Anderson of West Windsor. Donations may be made to the Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church, One Chevy Chase Circle, Washington, D.C., 20015.

Elizabeth B. Griffith, 80, of Hamilton died September 6, in Cape May Court House. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was raised in Plainsboro, where her parents owned and operated a John Deere dealership. She worked at Educational Testing Services as a supervisor for more than 25 years.

Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Samuel and Terry Griffith, Carol Griffith, and Robert and Kathy Griffith; her siblings, Robert and Cookie; and grandchildren, Lauren, Rebekkah, Kristen, and Brent.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, September 10, at 11:30 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, before going to graveside services at Westminster Cemetery in Cranbury. Vilma A. Martin, 90, of Carteret died September 6. Survivors include a niece, Linda McGill, and her husband, William, of West Windsor.
