Keith Charles Wilson, 81, of New Mexico died February 10. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Kristin and Ryne Palombit of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to Mesilla Valley Hospice, 299 East Montana Avenue, Las Cruces, NM 88005.

John “Jack” McCarthy of Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, died February 17. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Joanne McCarthy of West Windsor. Donations may be made to the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur Retirement Fund or the Camilla Hall Retirement Fund.

Louis E. “Big Lou” Thomas, 70, of West Windsor died February 18.

Lawrence James Slajchert of West Windsor died February 19 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Chicago, he was a member of the 1951 San Francisco Dons football team as a center and linebacker. He later worked in corporate human resources and the insurance industry.

Survivors include his wife, Norine E. Shea Slajchert; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Tim Slajchert, and Chris and Andi Slajchert; a daughter, Lea Shave; two brothers, Michael and Richard Slajchert; a sister, Marianne Slajchert; and six grandchildren, Andrew, Melody and Lydia Slajchert, and Dein, Christian, and Jolie Shave. Lillian M. Durling, 98, of Rocky Hill died February 19 at her home. Survivors include a son, Raymond L. Durling of West Windsor. Donations may be made to Rocky Hill First Aid & Rescue Squad, Box 175, Rocky Hill 08553.

Alfreds E. Braunfelds, 88, of Plainsboro died February 20, at the University Medical Center at Princeton. Born in Talsi, Latvia, he was a frequent contributor to Latvian periodicals, a speaker at Latvian political events, and, active with the American Latvian Association. He worked until retirement as an administrator for the New York City Board of Education. Survivors include a daughter, Velga Stokes, and her partner Peter Olenick; a daughter-in-law, Maija Braunfelds; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Wallace D. “Wally” Adams, 89, of Mechanicsville, Pennsylvania, died February 21 at Schuylkill Rehabilitation Center, Schuylkill Manor Road, Pottsville. Survivors include a son, Donald Adams of Plainsboro.

Elizabeth T. Righter, 89, of Broomall, Pennsylvania, died February 21. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law William and Margaret Righter of West Windsor. Donations may be made to Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1101 Main Street, Darby, PA 19023.

Rebecca Faith Rada, 50, of Hamilton Township died February 23, in the RWJUH at Hamilton. Donations may be made to A.P.A.W. Shelter, Box 162, Princeton Junction 08550.

William Clarke Wilson Jr., 91, of West Windsor died February 23, at Princeton Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, he moved to West Windsor in 1958

A graduate of Drexel Institute of Technology, School of Architecture, he served in the US Army during World War II. He was a design draftsman for the Radio Corporation of America’s Astro-Electronic Products Division for 38 years. During his career, Wilson worked on the nation’s newest and most classified government aerospace projects of its time, including RCA’s Tiros Observation Satellites, and the Apollo Space Programs. After retirement, he was an adjunct professor at Mercer College and a volunteer in West Windsor for the Board of Elections.

Survivors include daughter and son-in law, Suzanne E. and Robert F. Stewart; three sons and daughters-in-law, Clarke W. and Bonnie G. Wilson, Matthew M. and Michele Wilson, and Andrew E. and Joan Wilson; nine grandchildren, Catherine Stewart and Abigail Stewart Archibald and her husband, Matthew Archibald, Eric and his wife Terah Wilson, Laura Wilson Dinnage and her husband, Matthew Dinnage, Scott C. Wilson, Shannon and Stephanie Wilson, and Caitlin and Andrew Wilson; and five great grandchildren.

Ruth Dalley Horn, 87, died February 23, at the Pavilions at Forrestal in Plainsboro. Born in Elizabeth, she was a longtime Monroe resident. A graduate of New Jersey College for Women, now Douglas College, Class of 1943, she received a master’s degree in education from Rutgers University in 1973 and a masters in education administration from William Paterson College in 1976.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Carol and Jeff Markowitz of Monmouth Junction and Belinda Kanis of Plainsboro; a son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Grace Horn of Staten Island; a sister-in-law, Pauline Dalley of Manahawkin; and nine grandchildren. William Henry “Bill” Wilson, 79, of Greenville, Virginia, died February 23 in the Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He played major league baseball for the Philadelphia Athletics from 1947 to 1949. Survivors include a daughter, Diane L. Procaccini of West Windsor. Donations may be made to the Victory Junction Gang camp, 4500 Adam’s Way, Randleman, NC 27317.

Agnes M. Williams, 91, of Pawcatuck, Connecticut died February 25, at the Westerly Hospital. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Richard G. Williams and Victoria J. Ridge of West Windsor. Donations may be made to St. Michael School, 63 Liberty Street, Pawcatuck, CT 06379

Helene Klein, 60, of Plainsboro died February 26 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, after a 20-year battle with breast cancer. Born in New York City, she lived in Plainsboro for the last 25 years. A graduate of Rutgers University, she was a vice president at Merrill Lynch from 1989 until she retired in 2008.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Steven W. Klein; three sons, Jon Michael Klein, Marc Laurence Klein, and Gregg Robert Klein, all of New York City; and her mother, Ida Kunin of Little Neck, New York.

Donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation.

Marianna L. Mazzarella, 86, of East Brunswick, died February 26, at her home. Survivors include a daughter, Domenica Conserva of Plainsboro.

Betty J. Hirt, 85, Wernersville, Pennsylvania, died March 2 in Reading Hospital. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Ellen Hirt of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to Prospectus Berco, 840 William Lane, Reading, PA 19604.

Jean H. Rockwood, 84, of West Windsor died March 3, at the University Medical Center at Princeton. Born and raised in Albany, NY, she moved to West Windsor in 2005. A graduate of Great Barrington College, she was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Lynne D. Rockwood and Martin Scully of Bethesda, Marylan, Leigh R. and John C. Townes of West Windsor, and Laurie J. Teevan of Santa Rosa, CA; two brothers, Robert Hevenor of Briarcliff Manor, NY, and David Hevenor of South Hamilton, MA; and six grandchildren.

A visitation will be Friday, March 6, from 7 to 9 p.m. with a memorial service at 8 p.m. at the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville 08691.
