David Arthur Aanonsen, 48, of Hamilton Square died October 7 at home. Born in Princeton, he was a longtime resident of West Windsor before moving to Hamilton nine years ago. He attended West Windsor-Plainsboro High School and was a member of its state championship wrestling and soccer teams. A former RCA employee, he was currently employed with Dockbuilders Local 1456, with over 26 years of service.

Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Lori Ann (Hilenski) Aanonsen; his daughter, Amber Lynn; his parents, Arnold and Eleanor Aanonsen, Shirley and David Cifelli, and Nancy and Charles Hilenski; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Bonnie Aanonsen, Gary and Colleen Aanonsen, Bruce Aanonsen, and Darren Cifelli; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tony, Charles, and Terry, and Mark and Sandy. Donations may be made to the David Aanonsen Memorial Fund, 21 Mark Twain Drive, Hamilton Square 08690.

Mildred Marie Slangan of Piscataway died October 8, in New Brunswick. Survivors include a daughter, Gail Strong of West Windsor. Donations may be made to the Piscataway Public Library.

Nancy Farrell Robinson of West Windsor died October 9 at home. Born in Queens, New York, she graduated from Douglass College, Class of 1958, with a bachelor’s degree in English, and from Rutgers with a master’s degree in education. A teacher for close to 25 years, she was a reading specialist who spent more than 20 years at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School, teaching seventh and eighth grade language arts, English as a second language, special education, and other subjects. After retirement she served as a member of the Community Service Board at Morris Hall in Lawrenceville.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Arthur E. Robinson Jr.; her sons Arthur E. Robinson III of East Hampton, Connecticut, Michael E. Robinson of Lake Forest, Illinois, and David W. Robinson of Cranford; her daughters-in-law Maria, Frances, and Amy; her grandchildren Emily, Grace, Hannah, Kate, Will, Tyler, Christian, and Luke; and her sisters Barbara Farrell of South Hampton, New York and Ruth Laverty of Hackettstown.

A funeral service celebrating her life was held on Monday, October 12, at Dutch Neck Church. Donations may be made in the memory of “Nancy F. Robinson” to the “Dr. Rodriguez and Dr. Gibbon Fund” at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey Foundation, 120 Albany Street, Tower 2, Fifth Floor, New Brunswick 08901.

Lisa Tombyll Buchanan, 44, of Milltown, died October 11, 2009, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Survivors include a sister, Jill Tombyll of Plainsboro.

Ruth D. Lamkin, 98, of Cranbury died October 12 at Buckingham Place Assisted Living. Born in Bakersville, she lived in Plainsboro from 1936 to 2003. A former employee of ETS, Princeton University, and Walker Gordon, she taught Sunday school at First Presbyterian Church of Plainsboro for 40 years.

Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Hingher; her son, Dean Lamkin; her brother, Jack Dellinger; her sister-in-law, Mary Dellinger; her grandchildren, Beth Tolin and her husband, Joe; Jeff Hingher and his wife, Kimmra; Chris Lamkin and his wife, Tracey; Heather, and Larry; and Andrew and Brenda; seven great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.

Mary G. Stachowicz, 87, of Princeton died October 13. She co-founded and operated 206 Hardware Corporation for 38 years. Survivors include a daughter, Maybeth Ruddy of West Windsor. Donations may be made to the Health Care Ministry of Princeton, Box 1517, Princeton 08542.

Zinovy Simanovsky, 79, of Pennington died October 14 at his residence. Born in Odessa, Russia and a graduate of Moscow University, he was an engineer with the Bechtel Corporation before retiring. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Alexander Simanovsky and Susan Newman of West windsor. Donations may be made to Congregation Beth Chaim’s Building Fund, 329 Village Road, West Windsor 08550.

Adele K. (Kouri) George, 97, a former Plainsboro resident, died October 14, at the Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehab Center. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd F. and Barbara George of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 55 Day Lane, Williston, VT 05495; or Team In Training of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 40 1/2 Proctor Avenue, South Burlington, VT 05403.

Josephine Dolores Ragucci, 87, of South River died October 16, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, James C. and Adele Ragucci of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2600 Route 1, North Brunswick 08902.

Marion Sciortino of West Windsor died October 18. Survivors include children Nina and Kurt Fredland, Nicholas and Jacklyn Sciortino; grandchildren Marianna, K. Nicholas, and Jonathan Fredland, Nicholas, Michael, Salvatore, Cassandra, and Gabrielle Sciortino; a great grandson; and brother Thomas Cardillo.
