Dolores Sammartino, 75, of West Windsor died February 6 at home. Born in Hackensack, she moved to West Windsor in 2001. Survivors include her daughters, Dolores Van Name and Deborah Goldyn; brother, Theordore Pietz; sister, Sandra Reinig; five granddaughters; and a great-granddaughter.

Shirley S. Bica, 83, of Montrose died February 7. Born in Plainsboro, she retired from AT&T management. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Valerie Bica, Newark, Delaware; Dawn and Mark Krempecki, South River; Brenda and Robert Rutledge, Johnson City, Tennessee; Nicholas and Beth Bica, Piedmont, South Carolina; grandchildren, Justin Krempecki and Elizabeth Langtry, Brian and Lauren Krempecki, Spencer Krempecki, Michael Tangolics, Lauren Rutledge, Nicole and Jerome Bica; great-granddaughter, Vivian Krempecki; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Carlos Medina, 82, of Plainsboro died February 16 at the University Medical Center at Plainsboro. Born in Isabela, Puerto Rico, he was a factory machine laborer at Permacel most of his career. Survivors include his six children, Carlos Jr., Edwin, Milagros Medina-Delgado, Aurora, Noraima, and Maribel Medina-Olivo, 13 grandchildren; six great grandchildren, nine siblings; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ronald F. Werth, 79, of Allentown died February 16. Born and raised near Syracuse, New York, he worked in market research for television and radio networks for more than 40 years. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Marcia Werth; his two sons, Andrew Werth of West Windsor and Ted Werth of Los Angeles; and his sister, Louise Elsbey of Syracuse. Jarrett R. Hunt, 87, of Kingwood Township died February 18. An Army veteran, he retired from the New Jersey Department of Transportation. Survivors include family members Joanne Glover, Janet Ferguson, and James Greschak, all of West Windsor.

John A. Sullivan, 43, of Plainsboro died February 18 at University Medical Center at Plainsboro. Born in Long Branch, he graduated from York College. A pre-press editor for the Wall Street Journal since 2001, his team received a Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of 9/11.

Survivors include his parents, John R. and Angela (Griseta) Sullivan; his brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Deirdre Sullivan; his aunts and uncles, Tom and Linda Sullivan, Pat and Scott Edwards; and his great aunt and great uncle, Terry and John Ciani. Donations may be made to a food pantry of your choice.

Paula Jean Mueller-Farris, 59, of Plainsboro died February 18. Born in Montclair, she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Westminster Choir College. A performer, she presented vocal instruction throughout her career, both individually and in schools. Survivors include her son, David A. Farris; daughter-in-law, Amy E. Farris; brother, David A. Mueller; sisters, Rita M. Mueller, Ruth A. Mueller, and Clare P. Mueller Maqueda; nine nieces and nephews; and eight grand nieces and nephews.

Stephanie A. Rutkowsky, 70, of West Windsor died February 21 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, she had lived in West Windsor since 1977.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Kenneth J. Rutkowsky; her children, Richard M. Rutkowsky; Dawn A. Andrew and her husband, Grant, and their daughter, Jordan; Karen B. Thompson and her husband, David, and their son, Jonathan; and Brian J. Rutkowsky and his wife, Stephanie, and their children, Olivia and Wyland; and her sister Lynn N. Mattel.

Robert G. Volpe, 84, of West Windsor died February 21 in RWJ University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he moved to West Windsor in 1972. A graduate of St. John’s University with a degree in business administration, he earned his MBA from NYU. He worked for the N.Y. Stock Exchange, DuPont, Glore Forgan & Co., and Merrill Lynch.

Survivors include two sons, Robert A. Volpe of West Windsor and Matthew Volpe of Holly Springs, North Carolina; one daughter and son-in-law, Laura and James Dolan of West Windsor; one sister, Lorraine Dashiell of Portsmouth, Virginia; and five grandchildren, Kevin, Benjamin, Jack, and Lexi Dolan and Broden Volpe. Miles E. Delemos, 94, died February 23. He was an aviation mechanic during World War II. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Byron and Kathleen Delemos of Plainsboro.

Lea Gaspari Mundy, 82, of Clifton died February 23. Survivors include a nephew, Robert Bellotti and his children of West Windsor.
