Anne Benvenuti, 92, of West Windsor died December 4. Born in Arci, Cosenza, Italy, she lived in Woodland Park from 1955 to 2013.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Frank, Salvatore and Debbie, Joseph and Mary, Ben and Jynine; daughters Angie and Gil Honigfeld, Helen and Anthony Triolo;a brother, Salvatore Crocco; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Roger Harold Schwing, 74, of Lawrenceville died December 17. Born in Rochester,he lived in West Windsor for most of his life. He was a television sports director.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Lynn Schwing; his daughter Kimberly Schwing; and daughter and future son-in-son Kelly Schwing and Patrick Byrne; granddaughter, Brittany Schwing; and sister-in-law, Louise Schwing.

James K. Mahoney, 54, of West Windsor died December 18. A graduate of Kean University, he was a fixed operation manager for Honda of Freehold. A communicant of St. David the King Church in West Windsor, Mahoney was a fund raiser for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the American Cancer Society.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Mahoney; his children, Kelsey, Morgan, Conor, and Devon Mahoney; step-children, Michelle Jardine and Drew Matchett; his grandchildren, Spencer, Myah, Khloe, and Hannah; his mother, Ruth (Haffner) Mahoney; and his brothers, Dennis, David, Peter, and William Mahoney; and his sister, Marianne Della Serra. Donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the American Cancer Society.

George E. Powell Jr., 88, of Whiting died December 19. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was an air traffic controller in the New York area for 36 years. Survivors include a son, Mark Powell of Plainsboro.

Richard B. Fishbane, 61, of West Windsor died December 19. A graduate of Brown University, he received an MBA in marketing from Columbia University. Fishbane served as vice president of research at Strategic Data Marketing for many years. Former president of the Jewish Center in Princeton, he was on the board of the United Way of Greater Mercer County.

Survivors include his wife Joanne; his three children, Sophia, Alex, and Ethan; his father, Jordan Fishbane; his stepmother, Elaine Dinitz; his brother and sister, Steven and Raina Fishbane; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Wei Wen Sung, Karyn O’Driscoll, Leonard Reiffe, Michael O’Driscoll, and Charles Walker. Ruchira Pathania, 46, of West Windsor died December 19 after a four-year battle with breast cancer. Born in Agra, India, she moved to the United States in 2003.

A graduate of Sophia College, she received a bachelor of science degree in biology and chemistry. She received her MBA with a marketing specialization from the University of Rajasthan. She was a senior client partner with Korn/Ferry International for 18 years.

Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Udai Singh Pathania; her daughter Urvashi Pathania, a junior at Columbia University; and her son Aryaman Pathania, a sophomore at the Lawrenceville School.

Violet I. Hutchinson, 87, of Hamilton died December 21. Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Wilma and Ronald Black of West Windsor. Donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Marie B. Reisert, 90, of West Windsor died December 24 at University Medical Center at Plainsboro. Born in New Brunswick, she was a resident of Princeton Junction for more than 59 years.

Survivors include a son Dennis K. Reisert, daughter and son-in-law Colleen B. and Frank Robinson, and two granddaughters, Jackie and Kristen Robinson.

Mary Irene Pufky, 93, of Johnson City, New York, died December 24. Born in Czechoslovakia, she came to the United States via Ellis Island when she was 5.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Stasko of West Windsor. Donations may be made to the Ideal Senior Living Center, 601 High Avenue, Endicott, New York 13760.

Robert F. Hardy Jr., 63, of Plainsboro died December 25 at University Medical Center at Plainsboro. He was born in New Brunswick.

Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Hardy; a son, Kareem; three siblings, Michael, Richard, and Barry; and a grandchild.

Arline J. Engster, 56, of Plainsboro died December 26 at University Medical Center at Plainsboro. Born in Trenton, she was a longtime resident of Plainsboro and was a nurse with Princeton Medical Center for more than 25 years.

Survivors include her husband, Steven J. Engster; her daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Trevor Jordine; her father, Everett Hitchcock; her mother, Janet Grosse; two sisters, Cassandra Vergne and Connie Ashe; and a grandson, Aidan Jordine.

Jeanne Tell, 90, of West Windsor died December 29. Born in New York City, she attended Hunter College.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Constance Tell and Jeffrey Nathanson; two sons, Peter and Richard Tell; three grandchildren, David, Shoshana, and Anya; and a daughter-in-law, Meah Tell. Donations may be made to Yiddish Book Center, 1021 West Street, Amherst, MA 01002.

James S. Golden Sr., 82, died December 30. Born in Trenton, he was an independent farmer in West Windsor and retired from American Cyanamid after 40 years of service.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Alice L. (Hoagland) Golden; his son and daughter-in-law, James S. and Kelly Golden Jr.; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Blair Bugher and Gail and Randy McConnell; two grandchildren, Melanie Bugher and Caitlin Golden; two step-grandchildren, Eden McConnell and Lauren Bevins and her husband Chris; and two sisters, Shirley Qualls and Janice Golden.

Mary Theresa Ferrari, 88, died December 30. A former resident of West Windsor she lived in Monroe for many years. She worked as a registered nurse in New York, New Jersey, Michigan, and Illinois. Ferrari was a volunteer at the West Windsor Senior Center and Merwick Care Center.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Lawrence J. Ferrari; one daughter, Mary Ferrari of New Haven, Connecticut; one brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Frances Nash of Hazleton, PA; and one sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Louis Polumbo of Beaver Meadows, PA.

Marilyn Mahon Bradley, 73, of King, North Carolina, died December 31. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Greg Plonowski of Plainsboro.

Sandra N. Conte, 74, of Hamilton died December 31 at St. Francis Medical Center. Born in Brownwood, Texas, she was a longtime resident of West Windsor.

She was a den mother for Pack 66 in West Windsor and also volunteered her time as a Cub Scout leader. A founding member of the West Windsor Bowling League, she was active with them for 10 years. She was a licensed insurance agent for Prudential Insurance Company for 20 years, retiring in 2000.

Survivors include her four sons, Alfred (Trey) and his wife, Margaret, and their children, Drew and Caroline; Robert; Scott and his wife, Sarah, and their children, Nicole, Michael, and Christina; and Christopher and his wife, Maria, and their children, David and Stephen.
