Anne Carey Healey of Frederick, Maryland, died April 16. Survivors include a son, Thomas Healey of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to the Friends of Erin, c/o Condon Funeral Home, 684 Kearny Avenue, Kearny 07032 or to Plainsboro Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1, Box 206, Plainsboro 08536.

Helen Eskeitz, 99, of Pana, Illinois, died April 17. Survivors include a son, Jordan Sylvest of Plainsboro. Online guest book at www.legacy.com.

Joseph L. Poli, 58, of Nogales, Arizona, died April 17 in Holy Cross Hospital, Nogales, Arizona. Born in Trenton, he lived in West Windsor until moving to Mexico six months ago.

A teacher and guidance counselor at Notre Dame High School, he had also served as chairperson of the Foreign Language Department, moderator of the National Spanish Honor Society, and Student Government moderator. He had also taught at Mercer County Community College, Hamilton High West, and Wicomico Junior High School in Maryland.

A graduate of Rider University with a bachelor degree in English and French, he received a masters in education-English from Salisbury State University; a masters in Spanish from Vera Cruz University, Mexico; a masters in counseling from Rider University; and additional credits in Spanish from the University of Salamanca, Spain.

Survivors include three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Tony J. and Margaret Poli of Ocean City, Maryland, Sante J. Poli of West Windsor, and Nicholas L. and Peg Poli of Hamilton; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mary R. DePuglio of Hamilton and Nancy and Gregory Camilleri of Hamilton.

Lucille A. Gruszczyk, 84, of West Windsor died April 21 at Bear Creek Assisted Living. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Hillsborough for 38 years and West Windsor for 10 years.

Survivors include her husband, John J. Gruszczyk; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and Jeffrey King of West Windsor; and granddaughter Jennifer King, also of West Windsor. The funeral was April 25 at the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home.

Ralph E. Osborne, 92, died April 21 in the University Medical Center at Princeton. Born in Litchfield, Connecticut, he was raised in Trenton, lived in Ewing for 20 years, West Windsor for 44 years, and Meadow Lakes in Hightstown for three years.

He retired as assistant to the director of Princeton University’s Forrestal Research Center in 1977 after 39 years.

Survivors include three sons, Jeffrey Osborne of Flemington, Daniel Osborne of Punta Gorda, Florida, and Hugh Osborne, of Holland, Pennsylvania; a sister, Dorothy Willett of Grass Valley, California; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were by the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home.

Roger W. Callahan of Bloomfield died on April 24. Survivors include a son, Thomas P. Callahan of West Windsor. Arrangements by O’Boyle Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Mary Ann H. Schumacher, 73, of Jessup, Pennsylvania, died April 24 in Peckville, PA. Born in Trenton, she lived in West Windsor most of her life before moving to Jessup several years ago. She was a school aide for many years in the WW-P School District.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, John A. Schumacher of West Windsor and Joseph J. Jr. and Erica Schumacher of Balston Spa, NY; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn M. and Steven Esgro of Jessup, and Linda and Erik Eriksen of Chesapeake, VA.
