Internationally renowned sports photographer Richard Druckman, proprietor of Gold Medal Impressions Gallery, will exhibit his extensive portfolio at his annual Father’s Day Sale, through June 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, at 43 Princeton-Hightstown Road, West Windsor.
Druckman’s showing focuses on the new Yankees and Mets Citi Field stadiums in New York as well as the Beijing Olympics and sporting events held at High Schools North and South. All photographs on exhibit are for sale — including images of your favorite athletes at North and South. They are matted and can be framed on premises.
“The new Yankees and Mets stadiums are magnificent,” says Druckman. “I have captured on film the excitement of their openings, the first pitches, homeruns, and grand slams at each new ballpark. I have great shots of David Wright hitting the first homerun at Citi Field and Jorge Posada knocking one over the fence at Yankee Stadium.”
Druckman, who has been involved in professional photography for close to 30 years, has received critical acclaim for more than a decade. “People tell me they feel my photographs are magical,” says Druckman. “That brings me great pride because when something happens in a final game, in a first game, in a championship, I want to catch just the right moment with a photograph so it lasts forever.”
Druckman has been featured in Sports Illustrated, Parade Magazine, Life Magazine, and Squash Magazine, by the Associated Press, in USA Today, and in many newspapers throughout the country and region. He owns and operates the largest sports photography gallery in the nation, where he continuously displays a first-rate collection of photographs highlighting major football, basketball, baseball, hockey, college, and local sports, and Olympic events. His once in a lifetime photos of major teams including the Yankees, Mets, Phillies, Eagles, Giants, and Jets have been exhibited prominently in several venues.
Just recently, Druckman’s photographs were used to decorate the walls of the newly opened Green Parrot Restaurant Pub & Patio, upscale dining with an Irish flair, at Goodnoe Corner in Newtown, Pennsylvania.
“If the dad, husband or brother in your life is a sports enthusiast, you will definitely find something he will treasure at my gallery,” says Druckman. “People are watching their expenses right now and my photographs come in all price ranges to accommodate everyone looking for the perfect gift.”
