The University Medical Center at Princeton has announced the following births:

A son was born to West Windsor residents Jessica and David Munro, July 22.

Kenneth M. Baranski, 64, of Piscataway died July 10. An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a letter carrier for the postal service for 36 years. Survivors include a cousin, Ronald Matulewicz of Plainsboro.

Dorothy F. Doe, 98, of Hyannis, Massachusetts, died July 12. Survivors include a grandchild, Darrell Doe of West Windsor.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 13, at 11 a.m. in the Blumer Memorial Chapel of the Stratford United Methodist Church, 2600 Main Street, Stratford, Connecticut. Donations may be made to Stratford United Methodist Church Benevolence Fund or to the Susan B. Komen fund for the cure of breast cancer.

Catherine Campbell, 87, of Atlantic Highlands died July 24. Survivors include a son, William Campbell Jr. of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to Depaul USA, 5725 Sprague Street, Philadelphia, PA 19138 or www.DepaulUSA .org.

Carl L. Gettmann, 93, of West Windsor died at home on July 24. An Army veteran, he served during World War II. An electronic tester for Lucent Technology in Jersey City, he was a member of the AT&T Pioneers.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Simone Hennecy Gettmann; daughter and son-in-law, Karen Gettmann and Louis Marchetta; son and daughter-in-law, Steven Louis and Frederica Gettmann; grandchildren Noelle, Claire, and Peter Marchetta, and Merena and Eric Gettmann; and sister Ruth Stigliano.

Donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans, Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.

John P. Lauro, 56, of East Brunswick died July 27. Survivors include his daughter, Jackie and her fiance Jason DeMaio of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to the Sayre Brook Animal Shelter, 1400 Main Street, Sayreville 08872.

Michael E. Gulick Jr., 59, of Ewing died July 29. Survivors include a daughter, Pamela M. Gulick of Plainsboro.

Carol Canuso Balitsky, 51, of South River died August 1. Survivors include her daughter, Kara DeRose of Plainsboro; and granddaughter, Teresa DeRose. Donations may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association at www.abta.org.

Angelina Sculerati Diaforli, 103, of West Windsor died at home on August 5. Born in Princeton, she held officer and member positions in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Princeton Elks, the American Legion, the Catholic Daughters, the Columbiettes, the Golden Agers, the Alter and Rosary Society, and the West Windsor KeenAgers. A lifelong parishioner of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, she is believed to be one of the oldest members of the parish. For her 100th birthday celebration her children and grandchildren honored her at a dinner dance in West Windsor.

Survivors include daughters, Carrie Moore of Princeton, Nancy Rhodes of Hightstown, Judy Davison of Newtown, Pennsylvania; son, Robert of Toms River; daughters-in-law, LaRue Diaforli of Dallas, Texas, Jayne Diaforli of Toms River; son-in-law, Fred Rhodes of Hightstown; former son-in-law, Bruce Davison of Florida.

Also grandchildren and their partners, Thomas Diaforli (Susy), Gloria Adkins (Dallas), Donna Gibbs-Nini (Tony), Diane Harlow (Mike), James Diaforli (Pam), Kevin Tylus (Ginger), Karen Graff, Catherine Tantum (Tate), Christopher Princiotta, Jennifer Metzger (Tim), Lisa Recchia (Ronnie), Anthony J. Diaforli (Yvette), Robert Diaforli Jr. (Debi), Dina Petrillo, Russell Davison (Lindsay), Robert Davison, Fred Rhodes Jr. (Mandi), and Ryan Davison; 24 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
