The University Medical Center at Princeton has announced the following births:

Sons were born to Plainsboro residents Anusha Chopra and Ashish Sabharwal, September 23; and Julie and Amit Poonatar, September 29.

Moses (Mo) J. Gozonsky, 88, died in Washington, D.C., on August 23. Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Irving and Dee Gozonsky in Princeton Junction.

Stephen J. Luisi Sr., 97, of Juno Beach, FL, died September 11. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Edmond LaVoie of Princeton Junction. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1100 SE Ocean Boulevard, Stuart, FL 34996.

Patrick Joseph Henry, 70, of LaGrangeville, NY died September 20. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Emmett and Colleen Henry of Princeton Junction.

Kevin L. Edwards, 55, of Plainsboro died September 23 in Care One at Hamilton. Born in Johnson City, NY, he moved to Plainsboro six years ago. A graduate of Steinert High School, he attended the University of Maryland, and was a realtor at Prudential Fox and Roach of Hamilton.

Survivors include his mother, Arlene Edwards Burkley of Hamilton; his brother and sister-in law, John T. and Charlotte Edwards of Hamilton; and his aunt, Edith Detwiler of Binghamton, New York. Donations may be made to Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, 3400 Spruce Street, 5th floor, Silverstein Building, Department of OTO, Philadelphia, PA 19104, Attention: Marcia Brose.

Esther Reisler Goldstein, 74, of Norwich, CT, died September 23. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Andrew Davis of Princeton Junction. Donations may be made to Beth Jacob Synagogue, 400 New London Turnpike, Norwich, CT 06360; or to the American Lung Association.

Julien Preston Jr., 69, of Plainsboro died September 23, at the Pavilions at Forrestal. Born in Manhattan, he was raised in Englewood. He graduated from UCLA.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Diane; two daughters and sons-in-law; Dena and Patrick Gabriel and Lisa and Marcus Tripp; three grandchildren; and two brothers; Gordon Kent Brown and William Davis. Donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville 07834.

Eleanore Lorraine Danbury, 79, of West Windsor died September 24 at St. Francis Medical Center. She retired as a manager of Craft Cleaners in East Windsor.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Raymond E. III and Jirapa H. Danbury of Sicklerville; and a brother, Milton Carter of Fairless Hills.

Florence Ann Novins, 81, of Plainsboro died September 25. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Elli Barasch of Plainsboro, Liz Katkin of Estero, Florida, and Meg and Jack Novins Hanington of Princeton Junction; 10 grandchildren, Erin and Noah Barasch, Zachary and Gregory Katkin, Emily, Bridgette, and Mark Wasco, and Jack, Thomas, and Molly Hanington; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patsy DiPetropolo, Kathleen and Jack Herbert, Alice and Jim Kelly, Joan McDermott; and her sister-in-law Loretta McDermott.

Marie Scafa, 81, of Monroe died September 29. Born in Brooklyn, she is a former West Windsor resident. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Elizabeth Scafa of Princeton Junction; and granddaughters, Stephanie and Christine Scafa. Mario F. Cordella, 96, of West Windsor died September 29. John F. Fraytak, 70, of West Windsor, died September 30 at Bear Creek Assisted Living. Born in Trenton, he served in the Army National Guard and retired from the State of New Jersey Environmental Protection Agency.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, David and Joanne Fraytak of Hamilton; and sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Ben Fisher of Saratoga Springs, NY. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Alfonse M. Mattia, 69, of Edison died October 2 at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick. A CPA, he was a founding partner of Amper, Politziner and Mattia, now EisnerAmper. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Stacy Mattia of West Windsor.

Frank Lawton Chamberlin Jr., 73, of West Windsor died October 2 at the University Medical Center at Princeton. Born in West Windsor, he was a lifelong area resident and retired from the West Windsor Municipal Public Works Department after 39 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the West Windsor Volunteer Fire Company of Dutch Neck.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Barbara Tilton Chamberlin; son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Christy Chamberlin of Tennessee; daughter Kristin Rogers of Plainsboro; sister, Isabelle Ritter of Hamilton Square; brother and sister-in-law, James and Barbara Chamberlin of Morrisville, PA; and grandchildren, Colin and Ashlyn.

The funeral service will be held Friday, October 7, at 11:30 a.m. at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury. Interment will follow in Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church Cemetery, West Windsor. E. Robert Hoppe, 90, of Pottsville, PA, died October 3. Survivors include a son, Craig A. Hoppe of Plainsboro. Donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3544 North Progress Avenue, Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Funeral services are Saturday, October 8, at 11 a.m. at Van Liew Cemetery, 585 George’s Road, North Brunswick.
