Michael Jankowski, 52, of West Windsor died August 11 in Princeton. Born in Jersey City, he was a graduate of St. Peter’s College and Seton Hall Law School. After working with U.S. district courts in Newark and Trenton he worked as an attorney for the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey for more than 18 years.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Frances; their children, Christopher, Daniel, and Elisa Rose; his mother, Anna Jankoski; brothers, Joseph, Richard, John, and Thomas Jankoski; sister Teresa Patrick; and father and mother-in-law, Louis and Mary Marchetta.

Donations may be made to the M. Jankoski Memorial Fund, 21 Kinglet Drive, Cranbury 08512.

Alice T. Canning, 71, of West Windsor died August 12 at University Medical Center at Princeton. Born in Paterson, she founded Canning’s Ideal Tile Company in Lawrenceville.

Survivors include her four children, Elizabeth, John, Thomas, and Christopher Canning; and her former husband, John R. D’Aiuto. Donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity, 601 North Clinton Avenue, Trenton 08638.

Maryminta Konrad, 86, of Monroe Township died August 13 at University Medical Center at Princeton. Survivors include a niece and her husband, Heidi and Cabot Knowlton of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury Memorial Fund, 22 South Street, Cranbury 08512.

Reverend Emily Ann Williams died August 15. A chaplain at Harrisburg Hospital, she volunteered in Prison Ministry. Survivors include a brother, Tyrone Burston of Plainsboro. Donations may be sent to National Cancer Society.

Joseph A. Violi, 70, died at his Hamilton home on August 17. Survivors include his son Joseph M. Violi of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to St. Gregory the Great Building Fund, 4620 Nottinghma Way, Hamilton Square 08690.

Janice S. Mount, 70, of West Windsor died August 21 in Springfield, Vermont. Born in Princeton, she was a lifelong area resident and a member of the West Windsor Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary of Dutch Neck.

Survivors include her husband, Victor Mount; her daughters and sons-in-law, Katherine Bailey of Stockton, Cynthia and Ray Schaaf of Windsor, Karen and John Poli of Robbinsville; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lisa Preneta of Hamilton; a stepson, Stanley Mount and his fiancee Leigh of Trenton; a stepdaughter, Amy and her husband Kevin of New Hampshire; 12 grandchildren; a brother, John Sailey of Florida; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Sailey.

A service will be held Saturday, August 27, 10:30 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. Interment will follow in Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church Cemetery, West Windsor. Family and friends may call Friday, August 26, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Colonial Home.
