The Arts Council of Princeton raised more than $100,000 at the Dining by Design fundraiser Nov. 16.
Dining by Design was the organization’s most successful fundraiser to date. Fund are set to support ACP’s outreach programs.
ACP exceeded its fundraising goals in order to continue critical support of free ArtReach programs that make the arts accessible to at-risk youth and seniors in the Princeton region.
These programs include a new performance-based teen program in partnership with LifeTies in Trenton and Corner House in Princeton, as well as Arts Exchange for HomeFront of Trenton, and programs in partnership with Princeton Young Achievers, Princeton Nursery School, and Princeton Regional Schools.
Proceeds also support Creative Aging Programming for Seniors and Caregivers.
ACP, founded in 1967, is a non-profit organization with a mission of building community through the arts. Housed in the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts, ACP fulfills its mission by presenting a wide range of programs including exhibitions, performances, free community cultural events, and studio-based classes and workshops in the visual, performing and literary arts.
