Jordan Hemingway, a junior at High School North, won best in show youth for a juried photography competition sponsored by Friends of the Marsh. He has studied film photography at the International Center for Photography in New York City, High School North, and with Nancy Ori. He has worked for NYC based photographer Jean Moutoussamy-Ashe and has pursued his own film and digital work for music CDs and promotion, celebrations, and performances.
The show celebrates the beauty, mystery, and rich diversity of the plants, wildlife, habitats, and vistas found at the Hamilton-Trenton-Bordentown Marsh. The Voices for the Marsh photography exhibit has traveled to the Trenton City Museum, the Lawrence Library, and is currently at the D & R Greenway Trust in Princeton through March 13. Hemingway has also done volunteer work for the Arthur Ashe Foundation and its new website www.arthurashe.com, unveiled in 2008, as well as High School North theater and yearbook.
