CoolVines Wines & Spirits located in downtown Princeton is set to celebrate its sixth anniversary with a week of free events, promotions and sales.
Anniversary events are scheduled to begin Labor Day, Sept. 1, and culminate with a customer appreciation party in-store Sept. 6.
Voted “Best of New Jersey” by New Jersey Life and New Jersey Magazine, and noted in the New York Times as “one of the leading edge wine shops helping consumers find their way in the world of artisanal wines”, CoolVines’ selections are hand-picked from around the world, focusing on quality and value.
Throughout the week CoolVines customers can take part in free tastings of wine, beer or spirits, special guest speakers, mixology demos, debut craft beer releases and live music.
Anniversary week kicks off with the debut of fall’s seasonal beer and music by Bossa Nova scheduled for 1 to 5 p.m. Sept. 1
Next, Apothecary Cocktails: Restorative Drinks from Yesterday and Today author Warren Bobrow is set to make cocktails using Caledonia Spirits’ Barr Hill gin and vodka. The event is scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 2.
Lawrenceville’s Wildflour Bakery is set to provide gluten-free treats to pair with CoolVines’ selection of wine 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 3.
More pairings are scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 4, when experts for Princeton’s Savory Spice Shop serve bites with T Edward Wines. The spice shop experts are set to return Sept. 5 with more wine and food pairings 5 to 8 p.m.

CoolVines is an award winning wine, spirits and craft beer retailer with three locations across New Jersey in Princeton, Westfield and Jersey City.
At all three CoolVines stores and online, wines are arranged by how they taste and pair with food, rather than by country or grape. It is independently owned and operated by New Jersey resident Mark Censits.
