Carella Trenton resident Nina Marquerite Carella is the recipient of Greenwood Cemetery Association’s scholarship. Greenwood, in conjunction with its affiliate The Realize Your Dream Foundation, awarded the Notre Dame High School student a $1,000 scholarship. Nina Marquerite Carella of Trenton, New Jersey has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship to the college of her choice. Carella, the daughter of Anna Maria and Paul Carella, plans to study biology at the University of Tampa in the fall. According to Greenwood president Bernard E. Stoecklein Jr., “the Realize Your Dream scholarship was created for students who display a zest for life, a thirst for knowledge, a need to achieve, the courage to make tough decisions and the confidence to stand alone.” The Realize Your Dream Foundation provides financial support to local high school seniors pursuing collegiate studies in communities in which CMS-affiliated cemeteries and memorial parks are located. For consideration, students are required to complete the scholarship application and maintain a grade point average of 3.2 or higher.
