On Friday, November 13, 2015, the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville is slated to host a low-cost evening of food and fun for Lawrence Township children ages 3 to 12 so their parents can enjoy a meal out, a movie or just a few hours of peace and quiet.
Volunteers from the church and teachers from Lawrenceville Presbyterian Preschool will lead a range of interactive activities for the children, who will also enjoy a dinner of pizza and salad. Gluten-free options will be available.
The Parents’ Night Out event is an effort by the church to reach out to the community and give parents the gift of time together.
The event runs from 6 to 9:30 p.m. in the fellowship center at the church, 2688 Main Street in Lawrenceville. The cost is $5 per child. Parents must register their children online at pclawrenceville.org by November 1, 2015. Parents will also receive coupons for discounts at local restaurants.
The church, founded in 1698, offers a range of services and activities for people of all ages, including a traditional worship service at 10 a.m. Sundays, the Worship in a New Key contemporary service at 5 p.m. Sundays, Christian education for all ages and the Wednesday evening LOGOS program for families.
