Lawrence Township Public Schools is accepting applications for the district’s 2014 – 2015 preschool program.
The program typically services developing and special needs 3- and 4- year-old children at Lawrenceville Elementary School.
Classes meet for 6 ½ hours per day, five days per week. The 3- and 4-year-old class consist of 16 children.
Special needs students will be placed in the program by identification, evaluation, and eligibility procedures as outlined in the New Jersey Administrative Code. Typically developing student placement is based on a lottery scheduled for April 14.
Eligible children must be at least 3 or 4 years of age (no older than 5 years of age on or before October 1, 2014), must be a resident of Lawrence Township, and must be toilet trained.
Tuition for this program is $800 per month.
Preschool lottery applications are available at the Board of Education office (2565 Princeton Pike), Lawrenceville Elementary School main office (40 Craven Lane), or online at ltps.org/lesprek.
Completed applications should be returned to Pearl Charatz, Department of Student Services, 2565 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648, no later than April 11.
