Knitting Circle representative Belinda Silver presents the donated items to HomeFront volunteer coordinator Janice Hall, director of development Judy Long and Lawrence library reference assistant Karen Serach.
A Lawrence-based knitting circle donated homemade scarves, hats and mittens to HomeFront.
The knitters, who meet at the Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library System, made more than 30 scarves, 30 adult and children’s hats and two pairs of leg warmers.
HomeFront helps families end the cycle of poverty. Their mission is to end homelessness in Central New Jersey by harnessing the caring, resources and expertise of the community.
