The Junior League of Greater Princeton invites the community to their annual fundraising event, “A Day at the Races” to benefit our community programs in Mercer and Bucks Counties. The event is hosted during the running of the Kentucky Derby—May 7 from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.—and will be viewed as part of the festivities.
There will be a 50/50 raffle, a southern inspired menu, Junior League Julips, a hat contest and Derby inspired games. The event will be held at Green Acres Country Club, 2170 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville.
A Day at the Races is the Junior League of Greater Princeton’s second largest fundraiser, after their biannual Holiday Showhouse. Proceeds from this event enable the Junior League of Greater Princeton to continue its commitment to give back to the community through programs and projects that focus on women and children, such as Homefront, Dress for Success and the Cherry Tree Club.
Ticket information is as follows: general admission $95; VIP admission $140 (includes; premium seating and commemorative Mint Julep glass); VIP Table (admission for 10): $1,350 (includes all of the VIP benefits).
