Princeton Photography Club selected five winners in its annual high school student competition.
Their work is included in the SeasonScapes exhibition set to be displayed at D&R Greenway Land Trust April 9 through May 2.
The club asked applicants to photograph open space, evoking a season or the transition between seasons.
PPC president Carl Geisler and Curator of D&R Greenway’s Marie L. Matthews Galleries Diana Moore judged the contest.
Five winners will be awarded prizes totaling $500 during an opening reception and award ceremony scheduled for 7:30 p.m. April 9.
Princeton Day School student Rea Isaac won best-in-show for a photograph titled Snowmotion. She received a $250 prize.
Lawrenceville School student Alex Lin won second for Winter Ghosts. Victoria Berzin, also of the Lawrenceville School, won third. PDS student Mallory Richards won fourth place for Corn Walk. PDS student Helen Healey won fifth for Bareness.
The club awarded honorable mentions to Hightstown High School students Sncha Agrawal and Megan Burd, and Lawrence High School student Kristen Miller.
Following the award ceremony, Temple University photography professor David Freese will give a lecture.
SeasonScapes is set to be displayed in the Olivia Rainbow Gallery. The gallery features student art in memory of Olivia Kuenne, who cherished both art and nature.
D&R Greenway Land Trust is located at 1 Preservation Place in Princeton.
