Adath Israel to host concert and open house

Adath Israel Congregation in Lawrenceville has a Broadway-inspired concert and Beach Blanke Shabbat planned for June.

JEWels of Broadway and Film is scheduled for 7 p.m. June 9. This concert features music from Broadway and film written, directed or produced by Jewish artists.

The show is set to run 1 and a half hours.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.

Friday, June 14th – 6:15 PM –

Beach Blanket Shabbat is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. June 14. Adath Israel invites the public to an open house set on a tropical island.

Participants are encourage to bring beach blankets and chairs to sit on while they are served a “beach” type meal, play games and take part in a short Shabbat service.

The evening concludes with ice cream sundaes.

Dinner is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 10 and under.

Both events are scheduled to take place at Adath Israel, 1958 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville.
