Hopewell Valley Senior Services is set to hold several events in the upcoming weeks.
On April 15 from 10 a.m. to noon there will be a walk at the Mercer County Equestrian Center. Participants will meet in the parking lot at 431B Federal City Road, Hopewell. The group will set the pace.
On April 16 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Dr. G. Peter Gliebus of Capital Health’s Alzheimer’s Disease Program will be speaking about Alzheimer’s disease and cognitive disorders at the Hopewell Valley Senior Center.
On April 29 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. there will be a talk by Rose Berger at the Hopewell Valley Senior Center. Berger is the MSW Coordinator at the Education and Outreach Alzheimer’s Association, Greater New Jersey Chapter. The program will explore the difference between normal age-related memory changes and abnormal changes associated with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia disorders. Registration is requested.
