Kenneth Yen
The Pennington School announced a new gift as part of its ongoing capital campaign from Kenneth Kai Tai Yen, a 1984 graduate of the school.
Yen provided the cornerstone donation that launched the “Pennington 175: Engage. Enlighten. Transform.” campaign and has pledged an addition $2 million to the project.
Yen is the chairman of the Yulon Group in Taiwan.
Half of this recent gift is devoted to a fund that will match capital gifts for a new humanities building on a dollar-for-dollar basis.
The new building will bring together the disciplines of history, English, world language, ESL and religion and will be named the Kenneth Kai Tai Yen Humanities Building.
