Motion Gymnastics is set to celebrate National Gymnastics Day on Sept. 21.
Last year, members of Motion Gymnastics performed handstands in unison with nearly 44,000 other gymnasts and fans nationwide as part of a record-breaking effort to turn the world upside down. This year, Motion Gymnastics has planned a free event that is open to the public.
The open house features games, exhibitions, ice cream and door prizes.
Each year, National Gymnastics Day builds awareness of the sport and supports Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Money raised benefits Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in each club’s local community. Since 2001, gymnastics clubs across the country have raised more than $1.7 million.
The celebration is scheduled for 1 to 3 p.m. at Motion Gymnastics, 55 Route 31 South, Building C, Pennington.
Motion Gymnastics is a family owned and operated business. Since 1995, it has provided gymnastics, tumbling and trampoline training to all ability levels and ages in a safe, progressive and fun environment.
