DIVISION THREE GIRLS

On Saturday, HVSA Blue Bull Exterminators defeated Dahlia Floral Concepts 3-0. The HVSA Blue Bulls first score came from Chelsea Kent, while the next two goals came in the second half, both by Lily Ryan scoring off assists from Carly Brant. The midfield was controlled by Iris Lautermilch, Sierra Mitchell, Sonia Tenbarge and Amanda Flanders, while spectacular defense was played by Piper Brant, Kirsten Southall and Hailey Addonizio. Recording the clean sheet was Lily Ryan and Chelsea Kent.

On Saturday, The Hopewell Express Zombies, who in the spirit of Halloween showed up looking like Zombies, beat Jack’s Nursery 2-0. The winning goal was scored by Charlotte Catlett from out past the 18 yard line, and another goal from Beth Hooks in her return to full play secured the win for the Zombies. Payton Tuorto and Makayla Scherbekow both put on another great show in goal, with Makayla making a particularly spectacular save to keep the Orange team to a shut-out. On Sunday, the Hopewell Express Zombies defeated the Royal Blue Exterminators 4-1. Overwhelming pressure saw two goals from Beth Hooks, one from Sarah Eschleman and from Payton Tuorto. Great appearances in goal from Payton Tuorto and Makayla Scherbekow kept the opponent from a comeback after a great effort by the Blue team.

On Saturday, the Dahlia Floral Concepts Pink Panthers team lost 3-0 to the HVSA Royal Blue team. Mariel Haynes and Ellie Lamond both played great games. The following day, the Pink Panthers played the Jack’s Nursery and Landscaping team. The girls lost this one 4-0, but had amazing offensive plays by Ayla Mauk and Grace Stroman. Rose Andreski and Catherine Zeglarski were strong on defense, and Charlotte DeLorenzo had some great kicks up the field to forwards.

Jack’s Greenhouse & Nursery lost to Hopewell Express 2-0 on Saturday. Starting the second half with a 0-0 tie, Jack’s defense fought aggressively, forcing many shots to go wide of the goal, but couldn’t prevent Hopewell Express from scoring two goals. The next day, Jack’s played Dahlia’s Floral Concepts. Anna Gabe scored the game’s first goal, shortly followed by a goal from Tessa Caputo, making the game 2-0. Anna scored the third goal for Jack’s. Natalie Kasprzyk was flawless in goal due in large part to the defensive work by Jaelyn Krin and Lucy Antal. Natalie and Jaina Jackowski scored goals in the second half, with Katie and Olivia Doherty sharing goalkeeping duties.

DIVISION THREE BOYS

Stellitano won two games this weekend against pre-ICL opponents. During Saturday’s game against Robbinsville 1, Stellitano raced out to a 5-0 halftime lead, and tacked on three more goals in the second half, eventually winning the game 8-2. Richie Keifer netted a hat trick, and single goal scorers included Larry Kennedy, Eddie Keifer, Vitor Fontes Nichi, Mike Kennedy and Simeon DaPonte. Teddy Franzino and Andrew Sagotsky both played solid defense. Sagotsky and Eddie Keifer each played solid halves in goal. On Sunday, Stellitano defeated Ewing 2 8-3. Larry Kennedy scored a hat trick, Eddie Keifer scored two goals, and Finn Murray-Campbell and Andrew Sagotsky each scored one goal. Teddy Franzino scored his first goal of the season. Vitor Fontes Nichi and Mike Kennedy had strong midfield presence as Oliver Licciardi helped hold down the back line. Goalkeeper Bryce Meccage blocked several tough shots from the Ewing team.

In a well-played game in all phases of the game, DiSimone Orthodontics took control early, finished strong and defeated Ewing 3 by a score of 6-1 to complete the regular season with a record of 9-4. On the scoreboard twice were Louis Azara and Emerson Hoagland, followed with additional goals by Jackson Pfau and Herbert Carr. The defensive effort was led by Joshua Kohlhepp and Jacob Brown in goal, along with consistent play from Emiliano Fernandez, Michael Moran and Colin Szustakowski. Aaron Nulman and Michael Stroman had multiple opportunities to score and to assist with aggressive offensive play and solid crosses into the box to open teammates.

On Saturday, the Carnegie Cat Clinic defeated Jack’s Nursery and Landscaping 3-0. Chris Sawicki, Victor Polverejan, and Chris Sawicki scored goals for the Carnegie Cat Clinic and JC Perez and Jonathan Sharma provided strong defense as the goalies. On Sunday, the Carnegie Cat Clinic defeated Robbinsville 2 by a score of 6-1. Goalies Jonathan Sharma and Victor Polverejan provided solid defense. Goals were scored by Chris Sawicki, JC Perez, Cameron Phillips, Victor Polverejan, Jonathan Sharma and Nathan Lee.

On Sunday, Jack’s Nursery defeated Ewing-3 with a final score of 4-0. Dominic Chila and Mason Scall each scored goals for Jack’s Nursery in the first half of the game while Jeffrey Blake defended the goal. In the second half Han Kim and Mason Scall each scored goals for Jack’s while Aiden Shine defended the goal.

DIVISION TWO GIRLS

Dr. McDonough’s Live Wires lost to PQM Florist 2-0 on Saturday. Rylind Pasquito made an five saves on goal and Francesca Moriello made another two saves. Sidney and Jenna Young, along with Abigail Hogan, Emma and Cassidy Hartman, were strong on offense. Colleena Kirov and Ellie Duffy were tremendous on defense.

The Pennington Quality Market Flower Shop won their match against Dr. McDonough’s Live Wires on Saturday 2-0. Goals came in the first and third quarters by Gianna Azara. Goal keepers Angelyn Li, Kaylie Gorman, Olivia Friedrich, and Elizabeth Eckel earned the shut out. On Saturday, the Flower Shop defeated Burwood Landscapes and Patio 2-1. Gianna Azara scored the two goals, and great effort was shown by the keepers, Kaelyn Gopaul, Olivia Friedrich and Angelyn Li.

The Red Lions defeated the McDonough Live Wires 4-2 on Sunday. Ava Courtney got the scoring going early in the first netting the first of her three goals. With the Red Lions up 1-0 at halftime thanks to great goalkeeping by Grace Sullivan, Bridget Holden scored a goal to put the Lions up 2-0. Then Ava Courtney went to work scoring two more goals. The Red Lions defense held the Live Wires scoreless until the fourth quarter thanks to Gerise Kelly and Meg Adelman and Lila Petropoulos.

DIVISION TWO BOYS

On Sunday, Regent Floor Covering tied Green leaf Landscape 3-3. Owen Lengle made two goals and Conor O’Boyle made the third. Luke Harjes played well as stopper for the game.

The Northfield Bank team played defeated Union Line Garage on Sunday 5-4 in a dramatic fashion with a goal by Nikolai Klein in the closing minutes of the game. Nikolai’s game-winning goal secured him a hat trick to go along with goals from teammates Drew Kohlhepp and Logan Camilleri.

Pennington Quality Market defeated Horvath & Giacin 6-3. Gavin McDonough scored three goals for the team and playing solid in goal. Samuel Dede played a strong defensive game in the first half and then switched to offense where he scored a goal. Dylan Yasher had another spectacular game, goaltending fiercely for two quarters and also scoring one for PQM. Henry West also came away with a goal and an assist. On Sunday, Pennington Quality Market defeated Soccer Post & Tennis Net with a score of 4-2. Giuseppe Panzitta, Henry West, James Todd and Dylan Yasher scored goals for PQM and Dylan Yasher, Gavin McDonough, Aiden Luciano, and Erik Petrin provided the team with strong goal tending efforts.

UnionLine Garage tied 4-4 against Greenleaf Lawn and Landscaping Saturday morning. On Sunday, UnionLine Garage lost 5-4 to Northfield Bank. UnionLine Garage started strong with Elijah Barnes, Owen Wemple and Nick Lautermilch scoring three goals in the first quarter. Northfield Bank came back to tie by half time. During the second half, Joseph Ahn, Justin Edgington and Evan Katzenbach went beast mode to lead defense. They aggressively stuck with the ball, to force it upfield and keep offense in play. Tyler’s body shield, Roman Scaturro’s tenacity and Robert Taylor’s killer kicks at the most pivotal moments made for a close game. Jason Laliwala’s tight ball control assisted in the final score for UnionLine Garage.
