DIVISION THREE GIRLS

On Saturday, HVSA Blue Bull Exterminators defeated Hopewell Express 3-2. The Blue Bulls jumped out with a lead when Amanda Flanders created space on a breakaway. The Hopewell Express Zombies came back with 2 goals to take the lead in the second half. However, a crossing pass by Sonia Tenbarge to Iris Lautermilch scored the equalizer, and a late score by Carly Brant allowed the Blue Bulls to take the lead. The midfielders—comprised of Lily Ryan, Sierra Mitchell and Manvi Shah—showed outstanding ball control, while the defense led by Chelsea Kent, Piper Brant and Hailey Addonizio continued to push the ball back across midfield. Goal keeping duties were shared between Manvi S. and Chelsea K.

The Dahlia Florals Pink Panthers team played Jack’s Nursery and Landscaping on Saturday. The Pink Panthers girls had a strong offensive game, but lost the game 3-1. Taylor Wert scored the goal for the Pink Panthers. The girls had several shots on goal, but couldn’t get most past the goalie from Jack’s Nursery. Grace Stroman was strong as goalie for the Pink Panthers and saved several shots from scoring.

Jack’s Greenhouse & Nursery defeated Dahlia Floral Concepts on Saturday. Dahlia’s opened the scoring in the first half with one goal that was quickly answered by Jack’s Zoe Dec. Goalie Natalie Kasprzyk kept Dahlia’s from scoring additional goals in the first half, supported by the excellent defensive work of Jaelyn Krin, Lucy Antal, Jaina Jackowski and Katie Clarke. Tessa Caputo made a pass to Anna Gabe who scored to put Jack’s ahead 2-1 at the end of the first half. Bella Gaglio took over goaltending duties for Jack’s in the second half and kept Dahlia’s from registering any additional goals. Lucy, now playing offense, found the back of the next to give Jack’s a 3-1 lead. Lily Gaglio, Olivia Doherty and Shinyi Li lead the defensive effort in the second half to give Jack’s the win.

DIVISION THREE BOYS

DeSimone Orthodontics defeated Robbinsville 2 in an ICL game 6-2. Through selfless play on offense, five different players scored including Jackson Pfau, Louis Azara, Joshua Kohlhepp, Michael Stroman and Herbert Carr. Bradley Cohen was excellent in goal, allowing zero first-half goals, including a blocked penalty kick. Jacob Brown played strong goalie and defense throughout the second half. The defense and midfield units showed their consistency through aggressive and consistent play by Dylan Drift, Emi Fernandez, Colin Szustakowski, Aaron Nulman and Emerson Hoagland. The team has now won four in a row to achieve a 7-2 record.

On Saturday, the Carnegie Cats Clinic (Blue) defeated Ewing 2 (Red) 4-1 at the Tank Field. The first goal was shot by Dan Polverejan with the assist from JC Perez. Chris Sawicki shot a direct kick and scored the second goal. The Ewing 2 team tried to score a goal that was blocked by Ben Veale and Miko Kubiak. Chris Sawicki shot the third goal. Goalie Jonathan Sharma deflected a goal-kick from the right side of the goal by pushing the ball above the goal. On another occasion Jonathan Sharma ran towards the ball and kicked it away from the goal. Aaron Dandurand scored the fourth goal.

DIVISION TWO GIRLS

The Red Lions lost 2-0 Saturday to Burwood Landscapes and Patio Designs despite consistently solid goaltending by both Gerise Kelly and Bridget Holden. The Red Lions played aggressive offense but were stopped just short many times. Leading the charge was Eve Szeliga, Shreya Mookherjee and Elizabeth Myers.

The Pennington Market Flower Shop defeated Purtuc Dental 3-2 on Saturday. Olivia Friedrich, Rebekah Seiglehiem and Kaelyn Gopaul played a great game in the net as well as on the field. Maeve Geurds, Angelyn Li, Elizabeth Eckel and Arya Khare played hard for the defense. Addie Rhodes, Sonia Coppisetti, Ruby Golkov and Kaylee Gorman held strong in the midfield. Gianna Azara and Julia Schwarz led our offense and netted the goals for the PQM Flower Shop.

DIVISION TWO BOYS

Regent Floor Covering defeated Union Line Garage 6-1. Three goals made by Owen Lengle, 2 goals were made by Finn Garner and 1 goal was made by Liam Jensen. Jace Kalina did a great job blocking Union Line Garage from Stealing the ball and Luke Harjes played a great game intercepting the ball from Union Line Garage.

Pennington Quality Market lost to Greenleaf Landscaping on Saturday by a score of 4-1. Goalies Aidan Luciano and Giuseppe Panzitta faced the pressure from their opponents and made a number of great saves. Dylan Yasher was a force to be reckoned with, running up and down the field and coming away with the only goal for PQM. Henry West, Gavin McDonough, Chris Miliaresis and Aidan Luciano also did a tremendous job on offense. Samuel Dede, James Todd, Erik Petrin and Wyatt Russell put up a great effort in the defense.
