Where’s Waldo? He’s hiding in Hamilton.
The famous children’s book character in the striped shirt and black-rimmed glasses is set to visit 25 different local businesses throughout Hamilton in July and those who spot him are eligible for prizes, including stickers and book coupons.
From Booktrader of Hamilton in Mercerville to Cross & Shamrock in Hamilton Square, from Mario’s Pizza on East State Street to Jersey Girl Café on Route 33, Waldo figures will be well hidden in local business establishments.
Participants can pick up a “Find Waldo Local in HAMILTON!” passport that lists Waldo’s hiding places from Booktrader.
When a seeker finds Waldo, they get a stamped or signed on their passport.
The first 100 Waldo seekers to get their passports stamped or signed at 10 or more sites and bring it back to Booktrader can collect prizes.
Collecting 20 or more stamps or signatures entitles participants to enter a grand prize drawing on July 31. The top prize is a six-volume deluxe set of Waldo books.
There is no charge to participate. The hunt lasts for the entire month of July.
Booktrader is located at 2421 Nottingham Way in Mercerville.
