The Kusers were long associated with 20th Century Fox and were well known in Hamilton Township for their weekend movie nights, showing 20th Century Fox movies, often before they were released to the public. The tradition continues with a monthly movie night at the mansion. Films will be shown on a 18.5 foot Cinemascope screen.
This month’s movie is the 1940 production of The Philadelphia Story. Participants are invited to bring chair cushions or lawn chairs.
Local historian Ray Williams is set to present Coins of Washington’s Time 1 p.m. Feb. 23. William is set to discuss money used during the colonial era.
Kuser Farm Mansion is located at 390 Newkirk Ave., Hamilton.
