Community Children’s Choir is set to open registration for singers six and up on Sept. 6.
Registration is scheduled for 4 to 8 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Hamilton Square, 3550 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. An initial rehearsal for adult choir singers is set to follow at 8 p.m.
The first rehearsal for the children’s choir is set for Sept. 8 at Pond Road Middle School, 150 Pond Road, Robbinsville.
CCC consists of four divisions. The Alpha division is for children six years old children to fourth graders. The Disciple group is for ages fourth to sixth graders. The Teen division is for seventh graders and up.
The adult choir ranges in age from college students to senior citizens and includes an non-auditioned group that meets a few times per month and an auditioned ensemble that rehearses weekly.
CCC is a non-profit ecumenical choir with vocalists from more than 45 churches located throughout New Jersey and Bucks County, Pa.
The choir performs bi-annual benefit concerts for charity. To date, CCC has raised more than $185,000.00 for organizations such as Meals On Wheels, Urban Promise , Mt. Carmel Guild and HomeFront.
