Thousands of people have appeared in the Hamilton Post since September 2005, and space and time contraints meant we couldn’t track everyone down for a feature story. What follows are some more names from our archives with a short update on what they are doing now.

Adnan Bektas and Mustafa Ceylan (September 2005) continue to own and run Tessara restaurant on Route 33…Danielle Tararuj (December 2005) is a former TCNJ radio personality and currently works as a social worker for Hamilton Township public schools…Dahntay Jones (December 2005) is a Steinert High School alumnus and a professional basketball player who spent the last half of the 2015 season with the Los Angeles Clippers…

Carrie Chiorello (January 2006), now Carrie Czech, still runs Brewed Attitude café in Trenton…Chris Vernon (October 2006) continues his work with Mercer Management & Development to rebuild local developments. He has developed several hotels and car washes in Hamilton and Robbinsville, and runs Weddings of Distinction, which manages a collection of luxury wedding venues in New Jersey…former Steinert High football coach Carl Jordan (April 2006) is currently teaching math at the East Brunswick Vocational Technical School…Eddie Gaven (August 2006) retired after playing 11 seasons in Major League Soccer. Gaven holds multiple records with the MLS, including being the youngest player to play in 250 matches…Vittorio Aconi (December 2006) closed Vittorio’s Restaurant in Hamilton and is currently executive chef at Villa Rosa restaurant in Ewing…

Former Mayor John Bencivengo (February 2007) served 18 months of a 38-month prison sentence after he was convicted in 2012 on federal corruption charges. He was released, and resides in Hamilton…Jill Morrison (August 2007), who joined the Hamilton Township Police Department in 1987 as one of the first female officers, retired from the force in 2013…

Author and actor Damon DiMarco (January 2008) continues to publish novels and stories. His most recent novel is entitled “The Brown Agenda: My Mission to Clean Up the World’s Most Life-Threatening Pollution”…Switlik Parachute Company (November 2008) continues to sell safety and survival products for the aviation, marine and military markets from their Hamilton location…Jet Weston (February 2009) still performs Western swing music with his band Jet Weston and his Atomic Ranch Hands…

Tad Kornegay (October 2010) retired from the Canadian Football League in 2014…former Rat’s Restaurant executive chef Kevin Sbraga (October 2010) won Bravo’s Top Chef competition and is the head chef and owner of Sbraga Dining, a company that owns resturants in Philadelphia and Jacksonville, Florida, as well as offers catering services…

Steve Besserman (April 2011) continues his work as the founder and chief storyteller of AriJoe Productions, where he produces documentaries for marketing, nonprofit fundraising and others looking to capture their history…Rick Duczak (June 2011) continues to run Karl Business Machines, a family-owned vintage typewriter repair shop on Nottingham Way…Dr. Joseph and Olivia Caruso (March 2012) still run their physical therapy and nutrition services practice, which is based out of their Yardville-Allentown Road office…Diane Sauer (April 2012) still owns and operates Shoot Again Pinball on Endicott Road. She also successfully crowdfunded a role-playing card game…

Hamilton High West alum Jim Hoey (March 2013) retired from Major League Baseball after pitching for the Baltimore Orioles and Minnesota Twins…actor Tom Guiry (May 2013) was arrested at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas in August 2013 after allegedly head-butting a police officer. Guiry’s most recent performances include appearances on the TV show Elementary and the film Mahjong and the West…Michael Cimarusti (November 2013) is the owner and head chef of Providence Restaurant in Los Angeles.
