Lifetree Community Church celebrated their third anniversary by scooping ice cream for Quilts For Comfort at Maggie Moos Oct. 11.
Robbinsville-based non-profit organization Quilts for Comfort is dedicated to making and delivering handmade quilts to hospital bound cancer patients to comfort them during their treatment.
Quilts For Comfort founder and Robbinsville resident, Susan Tonry, was on hand to celebrate and personally sample the mystery flavor of that night, S’more Pop-Tarts.
Tim Cheek of Maggie Moos hosted the benefit and donated 15 percent of all purchases from the night directly to the cause.
