Hamilton Township is set to sponsor two flu immunization clinics.
The New Jersey Department of Health has reported high levels of influenza in the state, with information indicated the highest levels of influenza occurring in the northwest, northeast and central west regions of the state.
The township is offering free flu shots to residents; proof of residency is required.
The first clinic is scheduled for 4 to 7 p.m. Jan. 29 at the Division of Health. 2100 Greenwood Ave., Hamilton. The second clinic is scheduled for the same time and place on Feb. 4.
Children at least six years old may receive vaccinations, but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Flu vaccines are also available for homebound residents, who can call Hamilton’s Division of Health at (609) 890-3884 to schedule an appointment.
