Hamilton Township is accepting photo submissions for its annual calendar contest.
Mayor Kelly Yaede asks residents to submit photos corresponding to this year’s theme, “we love Hamilton because…” Selected photos will be used in the 2015 Hamilton Township Municipal Government calendar.
“Whether it is our great parks, our wonderful community events or our beautiful neighborhoods – there is so much to love about Hamilton Township,” says Yaede said in a statement. “This year’s photo contest and township calendar hopes to highlight just some of the many reasons why our families, friends and neighbors love Hamilton Township.”
Residents are asked to submit the ‘reason’ that they ‘love Hamilton’ along with a photograph that illustrates their reason. A selection committee is set to chose photos for the calendar, which is sent to every household and local business. Photographers will be credited for their pictures and the reason they love Hamilton Township.
Participating residents are asked to submit photographs with a signed disclaimer form, which is available online, giving full permission for the photograph to be featured in the calendar. Photographs of people or private objects, like works of art or private properties, must have the permission of the photographed individuals or the property’s rightful owner for use in the calendar.
Photographs must be submitted electronically via email attachment to Dominic DeGregory at ddegregory@hamiltonnj.com. Photos must be at least 300 DPI or 3000 x 2400 pixels.
The submission deadline is set for Oct. 3.
