Several Chapin School seventh grade students earned awards at the 2013 Mercer Science and Engineering Fair in March at Rider University.
Student were recognized for their projects in the fair’s junior division physical science and biological sciences categories.
In physical science, Emily DeGeorge of Yardville won the Meritorious Achievement award. Kathryn Barbour of Monmouth Junction and Atreya Iyer of West Windsor were recognized with Outstanding Achievement.
Princeton resident Ethan Anderson won Meritorious Achievement award for his biological sciences project.
For more than 50 years, the Mercer Science and Engineering Fair has allowed fourth through 12th grade students to complete and present projects in all areas of science, engineering and mathematics. The grand prize winner for the senior division receives an all expense paid trip to Intel’s International Science and Engineering Fair.
