Total Soccer is bringing U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team player Danielle Colaprico in for a special appearance at Pennington Ewing Athletic Center PEACturf in Ewing, on Saturday, Aug. 6 to work with local girls.
Colaprico, a Freehold native, will run a one hour on-field clinic where players will get an inside look into what its like to train as a Women’s National Team soccer player. At the conclusion of the on-field clinic, Colaprico will hold a 30-minute Q&A and autograph session where she will share what it’s like to play with the likes of Alex Morgan and Morgan Brian.
Colaprico earned National Women’s Soccer League Rookie of the Year honors as a midfielder with the Chicago Red Stars in 2015. A former University of Virginia soccer star, Colaprico started all 20 games for the Chicago Red Stars last season and played all but 24 minutes, amassing 1,776 minutes of playing time.
A rising star for the U.S. Women’s National Team and the National Women’s Soccer League, Colaprica was named NWSL Rookie of the Year.
The clinic for girls born in 2006, 2007, and 2008 will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The clinic for girls born in 2003, 2004, and 2005 girls will be held from 11 to 12:30 p.m.
