The New Jersey Association of Community Providers (NJACP) is set to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Jan. 21 to celebrate the opening of its newly renovated building located at 140 Scotch Road in Ewing.
NJACP is a trade association representing providers serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The association promotes independent living and the availability of supports and services that allow individuals to be active and contributing members of their communities.
NJACP was previously located on Whitehead Road Extension in Ewing. The new location is more than double the size of the former location and will provide a state of the art training center and meeting space.
NJACP’s CEO, Valerie Sellers, said, “I chose to remain in Ewing as I have found it to be a wonderful community. The Township, including Mayor Steinmann, was supportive and efficient when we undertook major renovations and, as a result, we completed our project ahead of schedule. We could not be in a better location for our members that have agencies throughout the state.”
The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 11 p.m. and refreshments will be served. Those wishing to attend may park in the soccer field parking lot located on Chief William Forst Lane. A shuttle will be provided to drive people back and forth from the lot.
