Lawrence Lacrosse Club is set to offer three clinics this fall.
Programs are offered for girls and boys from Lawrence, Ewing, Hamilton and Trenton. Clinics are designed as an introduction to the game for new players and a place for experienced players to improve their skills.
Lawrence Lacrosse Club’s boys clinic is open to first through eighth graders. Players will be grouped by grade level and participate in one session per week on Saturdays.
The clinic is scheduled to begin Sept. 13. and runs six weeks for first and second graders and eight weeks for third through eighth graders.
U.S. Lacrosse membership is required for this program for insurance purposes. Players must provide their own boys’ lacrosse equipment, although the club does have a few sets of equipment to lend on a first come, first serve basis.
The club’s Girls Clinic for U7 – U13 is open to first through sixth graders.
Players will participate in one session per week on Thursday evenings. The program is scheduled to start Sept. 18 and run for six weeks. U.S. Lacrosse membership is required. Players must provide their own girls’ lacrosse equipment.
Little Laxers is open to boys and girls in pre-K through first grade. The program offers an introduction to the sport in a relaxed and fun environment. Participants will be taught the basics of lacrosse through fun games led by experienced coaches.
This is scheduled to begin Sept. 13 and run for six weeks on Saturday afternoons. The club will provide all necessary equipment.
First graders may choose to participate in Little Laxers or the clinics.
Early registration is $30 for players who register before Aug. 14. Regular registration is $45. Space is limited.
