Fresenius Medical Care North America awarded its Ewing facility the Center of Excellence designation on June 26.
Fresenius Medical Care Ewing was recognized for achieving the highest standards in patient care in 2012. The annual award recognize the best-performing FMCNA dialysis facilities nationwide based on multiple objective measures of clinical quality.
FMCNA clinics share the company’s UltraCare mission of delivering patient-centered care through innovative programs, the latest technology, continuous quality improvement and a focus on superior customer service.
Facilities receive the Center of Excellence recognition based on key patient outcome measures such as dialysis adequacy, control of anemia, nutritional status, patient satisfaction and transplant education.
“Our Center of Excellence award recognizes the facilities that achieve the very best clinical results through the dedication and hard work of their staff,” vice president of clinical quality and UltraCare at FMCNA Carolyn Latham, said in a statement.
Fresenius Medical Care Ewing is located at 1962 N Olden Avenue.
