Church & Dwight employees awarded the Crisis Ministry of Mercer County a $12,000 grant to support the organization’s housing stability and homelessness prevention services.
The company provided the grant through its Employee Giving Fund.
Crisis Ministry plans to use the grant to fund its programs that help stabilize the finances and housing of of low-income households across Mercer County through direct, one-time financial assistance or, for some qualifying families with complex needs, ongoing support and benefit coordination.
Church & Dwight employees Angela Olsen, Diana Ayala, Mark Hughes, Vincent Magda and Peter Marshall presented the grant during a visit to the Crisis Ministry.
The Church & Dwight Employee Giving Fund, Inc. is a non-profit organization established in 2005 to support charitable organizations primarily in New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania, the region where the corporate headquarters is located and where many employees reside. EGF is a workplace giving program supported by employees’ contributions that are matched dollar for dollar by the company.
The Crisis Ministry is a non-profit organization that provides assistance to some 5,000 Mercer County households each year through integrated services that address food insecurity and nutrition education; housing stability and homelessness prevention; and work training and employment readiness.
