The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey’s (CHSofNJ) North and South Ward Family Success Centers will host their second annual Dance with My Hero Father/Daughter Dance on Nov. 7. The Dance will take place at the Lighthouse Outreach Ministry, 715 Bellevue Avenue, Trenton, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Funded in part by Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton and the NJ Department of Children and Families, and hosted by CHSofNJ, UIH Family Partners and Fathers & Men United for a Better Trenton, the event celebrates men who not only recognize the importance of a positive male role model in a child’s life, but who are honored to fill that role.
Locals are encouraged to bring fathers and father-figures alike; grandfathers, uncles, brothers, cousins, friends and mentors are welcome. The event is open and free to the public.
