Does Ewing have any ordinances about cars parked on the street? The block of Pershing Avenue between Pickford and Bradway constantly has cars parked along both sides of the street to the point of being a traffic hazard. The street is too narrow along that block to support traffic in both directions as well as cars parked on both sides. When a car turns from Bradway onto Pershing, the parked cars (including a few vans) make it difficult to see any oncoming traffic. Is there anything that can be done to make my street a safer one to drive on?

The general public can park on any public street. Any car parked within 25 feet of an intersection and 50 feet of a stop sign can be ticketed for blocking an intersection.
I will refer this concern you raised to the police for attention while on patrol. You can also call the police to ask them to come out and address if cars are blocking the intersection.
The problem you describe can be addressed by having an ordinance for parking on one side of the street only. This would require a review by the township engineer and police department. We would than request that 60 percent of the property owners on the street sign a petition asking for the one side of the street parking. Town council would than have to pass an ordinance. The town would then post the signs and have the police enforce the ordinance.
