Mercer County Wildlife Center’s Hopewell Township facility is seeking volunteers.
The center said staff and volunteers care for injured, ill and displaced wildlife. The center is staffed by one licensed wildlife rehabilitator and two assistants.
The center said they treated about 2,400 birds, mammals and reptiles in 2012.
The center said volunteers must be at least 18-years-old and have a current tetanus vaccine.
The center said volunteers are required to work a four-hour shift one a week from April to October.
The center said two sessions of its volunteer orientation are set for10 a.m. to noon March 17 and 23 at the center, 1748 River Road, Titusville. Volunteers are only required to attend one session.
