On Jan. 28, The Pennington School inducted nine seniors into its chapter of the Cum Laude Society as student members.
The Cum Laude Society is an international organization recognizing “academic achievement in secondary schools for the purpose of promoting excellence, justice, and honor.” There are approximately 380 institutions that are part of the Society, most of which are independent schools.
The inducted students are within the top 10 percent of their class as determined by grade point average. They include Cedric Abano (East Windsor), Lauren Brown (Yardley, Pa.), Nicholas Bunn (Princeton), Sara Clark (Lawrenceville), Thomas Cosgrove (Princeton), Andrew Gurick (Pennington), Elizabeth Koloski (Newtown, Pa.), Niral Ramesh (Princeton Junction) and Nathan Zavanelli (Pennington).
