Teachers can learn how to bring technology into the classroom at TECHSPO set for Jan. 31 and Feb.1
The 18th annual TECHSPO is set for Bally’s Atlantic City.
TECHSPO is organized by the New Jersey Association of School Administrators.
NJASA executive director, Richard Bozza, said in a statement that classrooms are becoming a digital environment.
“We are moving beyond ‘classrooms with computers’ to environments where technology is an integral part of creative thinking and problem-solving,” Bozza said.
Two keynote addresses are set for the conference.
Co-founder and chief technical officer at MIND Research Institute, Matthew Peterson, is set to present A Visual Approach to Math. Peterson created Spatial Temporal Math software, which teaches mathematical concepts visually rather than verbally.
New York Times technology columnist David Pogue is set to present The Digital Generation Comes of Age. Pogue is set to discuss what will happen as computer-literate children become America’s new leaders, visionaries and designers.
Along with speakers, participants can attend six group sessions and visit the exhibition hall.
