Crisis Ministry of Mercer County is holding its annual CAN-U-Copia food and volunteer drive.
Area congregations, schools, businesses, and clubs are joining Crisis Ministry’s efforts this Thanksgiving season.
The organization uses CAN-U-Copia to help fill the shelves of the nonprofit organization’s three food pantries and raise awareness and funds to support its hunger prevention initiatives.
This year, the CAN-U-Copia drive includes All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Princeton, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Christ Congregation of Princeton, First Baptist Church of Trenton, First Church of Christ Scientist of Princeton, Hopewell United Methodist Church, Klatzkin and Associates in Hamilton, Lutheran Church of the Messiah in Princeton, Nassau Presbyterian Church of Princeton, Princeton United Methodist Church, Trinity Church Princeton, Trinity Church Rocky Hill and Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton.
Yes We CAN! Food Drives is set to conduct a food drive at Pennington Quality Market Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 16.
New Jersey Ombudsman James McCracken and Office of the Ombudsman for the Institutionalized Elderly staff members are set to serve at Crisis Ministry’s East Hanover Street pantry Nov. 22.
On Thanksgiving morning, the Crisis Ministry will be one of three charitable organizations supported by the annual Trinity Church 5K Turkey Trot in Princeton.

The Crisis Ministry of Mercer County, assists some 5,000 low-income Mercer County households each year through initiatives that address food insecurity and nutrition education; housing stability and homelessness prevention; and job training and employment stability.
