Liberty Lake Day Camp is set to host a free Community Day to raise money for its foundation, which aims to send underprivileged children to summer camp.
Community Day is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 4 at Liberty Lake Day Camp, 1195 Florence-Columbus Road, Bordentown.
The event also features a Red Cross Blood Drive, registration is online.
Activities are set to include Major League Baseball’s Pitch, Hit & Run competition, charity softball tournament, boardwalk games, Zumba Fitness and a Chinese auction. Attendees can try camp favorites like miniature golfing, rock wall climbing, outdoor laser tag, boating and fishing.
Local gourmet eateries, as well as Rita’s Water Ice, are set to be on site for refreshments.
Liberty Lake’s Community Day is co-sponsored by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Camp owner and director, Andy Pritikin, is nominated for the society’s 2013 New Jersey Man of the Year.
While parking and admission is free, some activities require a donation for participate.
